Sunlight filtered through the clouds, allowing Kai to catch a glimpse of a light peeking out every now and than. Not that he couldn't say that it wasn't quite a relief to see. He rather would have seen another sight other than the sight of rain for the past few days. With a sigh, he shook his head in a tired manner. Apparently, the weather has been unkind, deciding to wreak havoc and mischief instead of it's usual sunny disposition.
Daring to venture out into the semi-flooded land, Kai could only murmur in disgust at the mud that had clung on to his hooves. Oh well. What he could get, he would take. it could have been worse.. right? At least he wasn't knee high in water.
As Kai moved upwind, towards dryer land, The chilled air felt good against his pelt. It brought the scent, that was combined of many mixtures, pine being the strongest of the scent. With a deep inhale, he allowed himself to relax, as he scanned the horizon, for any soquili that would be about, this early in the morning. Preferably, a mare would be nice.

God damnit.
Today just wasn't his day, then again, neither were the past few days. Rain, he loved and hated it. He welcomed the rain when he wished to relax, water had always soothed the rather irrate stallion...it reminded him of his winter wonderland he called home. It wasn't as cold, true....but it still brought a smile to his face. Yet of course when the stallion wished to train and the rain began to pour it wasn't welcomed at all. As he stared out to the mud ridden lowlands before him as he stood muddy and wet atop of the hill, a scowl was the only thing written on his face.
True, he could always try and learn combat in certian elements...mud would definately be interesting; but he'd rather have done some physical toning from running rather than fight with his own shadow. (To his dismay wasn't frequent enough thanks to the lingering grey clouds rolling over the sun every now and then.)
"Just great." He hissed, a kalona like growl rising from his vocals, tossing his mane back and turning his back to the one side of the hill. He'd been slacking too much lately...having met up with the likes of Isis erlier. Come to think of it....when was the last time he'd seen a stallion other than his immediate family? Thinking back for a moment, it seemed never, all he'd met was spunky girls....not that he wanted it such. Rolling his eyes to himself, he turned to leave when a motion in the distance caught his attention; something black and white making its way to the higher grounds and away from the mud drenched meadow.
Squinting his eyes to try and make out the figure, it was either a really stocky mare....or low and behold, a stallion. He ought to be careful for what he wished for.
Giving a loud snort in hopes to catch his attention, Zevach waited somewhat impatiently for him to draw near. Be if friendly or a foe...Zevach was up for some entertainment none the less.

Always on his guard.. Kai was alert to his surroundings.. But not once.. had he ever expected OR heard such a loud snort.. That sounded strangely like a soquili's. .. At least someone had very good voice vocals.
"But for the love of god, Do they have to be so loud?" His voice filled with irritation. Did they not have consideration for the other animals and creatures around here? As his ears followed the source of the snort, his emerald green eyes arrived upon.. another stallion. He would have casually dismissed the snort, if not for the stallion's gaze upon him, and the lack of other organisms in the area. Therefore.. He could only conclude that he was the object of the stallion's attention. "If I had to grab someone's attention.. Why couldn't it be anyone else?" Muttering under his breath.. And who was this stranger?
As he neared closer.. The stallion in the distance had become much more visible in appearance, appearing to have a pelt of dark blue, with a white mane that was tipped with teal.. But the stallion's red eyes were most disconcerting. It certainly did not blend in with the stallion's coloration.. at all. Overall, he appeared to be quite young.
"Now that you've called me here, young one.. What do you want?" His eyes flickering with annoyance.

Awesome....an old fogie.
The stallion thought bitterly, watching as the ivory stallion neared closer to his spot on the hill. It seemed he was unpleased to be seeing another soul out here on such a dismal morning; yet Zevach could feel the same about this male...as much as he liked company once and a while...older soquili seemed to just get on his nerves like his parents.
Raising a brow as he spoke, a smirk slid across his lips as often Zevach would match his aquaintance's personality. In this case, it seemed a dash of irritability was on the menu. "I didn't call you....a bug simply flew up my nose." He cocked his head in response, flicking his tail idolly. Surely he would have not a thing in common with this swirled back stallion; if anything he was getting unpleasant reminders of his damned brother Marius.
And that was bad; at least in his eyes.
"What I wanted was to train this morning, but it seems the rain has inhibited that for me thanks to the puddles. What are you doing out on such a dismal morning?" He inquired in a speculative sort of means, as if guaging if he should even bother to stick around with this male.
