Ok, so this topic really doesn't have so much to do with fat girls so much, other than I am fat and this makes me happy sweatdrop
So I was perusing You Tube when I came across this Billy Joel video for Uptown girl: Uptown Girl
Ok, so this is hilarious to me as my boyfriend, Rob, used to work at Valvoline and when I visited his job it looked a lot like that (he even had the outfit, it was so cute whee )
And I just imagined him and his ex co-workers dancing around singing like in the video.
And if I ever get my way, he and I and whoever else joins in will re-make that video. And it will be beautiful 'cause it's my boyfriend doing it...
I cannot express how amazing it would be to see this kid doing that, except by posting a crappy photo that hopefully will explain somewhat where my words are lacking:

If I ever thought it was possible to get a group of people together, I'd do it, even if I had to be the chick in the video...although hopefully we could find a suitable replacement.
*sniffles* So...beautiful.
Not to mention I love 80s videos that actually told stories and somewhat made sense, other than the singing and dancing... *cough*
And on a random, but still you tube note: I also happened upon Madonna videos...and it makes me sad that at what? 55-60s she is in better shape than I have ever been in in my life.
Nobody does that in heels!
However, she still is weird to me, and I wouldn't want to look like her really... but still... so much better shape than me.
So...uhh...discuss:
surprised Possible ways to have my dreams come true... surprised If you feel like being sarcastic and treating this like those old Klondike Bar commercials, feel free to think of horrible things to ask if I'd do it for the chance to see Rob do that. ("Would you bark like a dog?!?!") surprised How Awesome is Billy Joel? He can't only be my hero, right? >> surprised 80s videos and how awesome they are in general. surprised Madonna being in better shape than all of us. surprised How Madonna took the awesome beat from an amazing ABBA song to use for her own sick purposes <<;
(Note: If you like Madonna, I mean no offense... she just kinda scares me personally sweatdrop )

I heart Madonna. Only because she's a business savvy woman. She had purposely made all kinds of waves so her name would be out there and good lord knows sex sells. She's been selling it in her videos and albums for a number of years. Plus... 1990 who can forget her Marie Antoinette performance of vouge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzBb7uFFfyEAnyhoo, Billy Joel is awsome.

I agree, she is business savvy and she's good and knowing what sells. And actually I think part of her odd-ness is marketed.
I don't mind her so much, but she's just kinda odd to me. I do respect how good she is at keeping herself around.
Also, I have never seen that before but that was AWESOME. I want that outfit ;;

Anghared Starwing I miss the 80's. The Saturday morning cartoons didn't suck then. gonk Quoted for astronomical truth. Care Bears were fecking WIN! I do remember alot of the 80s, mostly WWF and good cartoons, the music on the otherhand was fantastic. The 80s is a much maligned time for music but it had some real class.
