Guy's the best.. and most humble quarterback of all-time dont you agree sorry Elway). He just broke the record for most touchdown passes, for a pass to Jennings again.

Even though I'm a die-hard Vikings fan, I really like Favre. I mean, how can you not like the guy? He isn't some attention getter like T.O. and others. He's a humble guy who just takes what the defense gives him.
Congratulations to Brett on passing Marino for the touchdown record!

Yeah hes doing really well. Its going to get harder to win games later on in the season without a passing game though.

He had every right to be pissed about that decision. For as many years as Favre has been with that team, he has a right to have a certain idea of where they are going. That's not to say that he is pulling the strings, but considering how they royally ruined the draft by losing some good players and hardly getting any offesive players-which they need by the way. Everyone was under the impression that they were going to do everything to get Moss, I would imagine Favre thought this as well and probably counted on them to make the effort and when they didn't make the effort I'd have been pissed too. Frankly I think he knows more about what's going on out there than McCarthy. And really, at this point he has the right to gloat a bit, think how long he has been playing for this team alone, much less in general. He broke a record that I am sure when Marino set it, very few ever thought it would be broken. Plus it's not like he's going around shouting from the rooftops about it.

True, but he did break the record playing many many good years. Marino broke and set records with many great years. Also... if there is a current year for the Packers, it's sure this year, because their defense is playing very good, their receivers are stepping up, they have 2 good tight ends, and the running back spots are filled.

Farve is a good guy, but no one is perfect. xD
But yeah after playing for so long, you'd think he would break something right?
Hahaha. But I do like him. He's a cool guy.

I agree here with Dude Lap the defencise is getting a lot better. Greg Jennings is really stepping up and so is Donald Driver [I think is the greatest WR ever but yah its my opinion]. Marino was aweesome but I think if he was still in the NFL, Brett could give him a run for his $$.

Favre is very good, but really just an "iron-man" and that's the reason he's breaking all these records.

Didn't Favre only have one more season than Marino so far? And Favre's first year was with Atlanta and he didn't play very much, so they're just about equal. Favre's just got a high risk, high payoff style of playing that gives him more touchdowns but also more interceptions. Strangely, this way of playing is actually the downside of Favre, who plays his best while showing some restraint.

Strangely, this way of playing is actually the downside of Favre, who plays his best while showing some restraint. But that's exactly why I see them as fun to watch, but they will never win any championships. Yes, Favre was close to Marino in years, but he had way more pass attempts. the dolphins were a pretty powerful running team. Although green bay has some talent in running the football, they're playcalling is completely lopsided to the pass. Yea, its exciting and the best way to win (with risks), but a team will almost never be able to go far in the playoffs or control time of possession when depenting almost totally on passing. The Packers are currently dead last in the NFL in rushing.

chaosboy93 to bad Peyton Manning will have all these records eventually smile why too bad? I think he deserves them. But, I don't think he will get the record for most interceptions or attempts, which Favre holds.

Ya, I like BF a lot. Packers are probably my #3 team, after the Chargers and Bears. Peyton Manning actually, I think he will have some records, but never all of the ones BF has.
