Slowly the dark colored lioness moved, following after a rabbit that was sniffing out food. She smiled to herself and purred deeply. The hunt always got her. She felt so alive every time she did this. Her claws withdrew as she slowly inched her way closer and closer, getting ready for the kill.
But then a twig gave away under her weight and out of panic the rabbit ran off.
Mjrn was left with a rather upset look upon her face as she lifted herself from the earth and sighed.
Why did dinner always run out on her?

 [[so you know what zuri looks like] The Adult had been looking for her friend when suddenly a rabbit made a sharp right after having spotted the lioness. She lofted a brow, maybe the large firekin male had gone off hunting rabbits she doubted he'd go for something that small but still.
Walking along the way the rabbit had come she soon spotted a slightly smaller female than herself. Her brow lofted looking at the dark pelt. "Heh, was that rabbit running from you dear?" She asked quitly as she sat down looking at the face of the other.
"Don't worry about it though, you'll get one soon enough. Those buggers can be tricky." She smiled watching the younger one. She'd forgotten for a momeny why she came this way.
"Ohhh You haven't seen a large red male out this way have you? With a white mane?"

Mjrn’s eyes went wide as another voice passed her ears and she quickly shifted places to see who it was that was talking to her. At first she seemed a bit fearful but soon that feeling went away. A lovely lioness had been the one to call out to her! Thank god- had it been a older male Mjrn may have run.
“Yeah, it got away.”
She smiled kindly and sat herself down, speaking.
“Awww, thank you. I will keep trying.”
She nodded with a soft, respectful bow of the head.
“A male? No. I have not. Did he run away from you like the rabbit did from me?”
She questioned with a smile, jokingly of course.

Zuri smiled softly and chuckled, "I lose a bit of my food the same way. It gets spooked and poof... Shame too those are the ones that look the best."
Her tail flickered looking over the dark pleted female again. "I suppose you could say that. He's a big fellow so I don't know how I could've lost him. I was going to take him around and introduce him to some of the other pridelanders as well before he mets Queen Kami."
She looked around, "Oh I seem to have forgotten my mannors, I'm AuriZuri, which you can just call me Zuri if you wish."

“The queen? Why is he going to meet the queen?”
Oh lord, she was being nosy! But she couldn’t help it, not with information like that. She just had to know.
“Haha. It’s alright. My name is Mjrn. Zuri; I could help you look for him for a while if you want to. I have nothing better to do. Besides, two heads are better then one... or at least that’s what they say.”

She shurged, "If he wants to join up with our pride. He's new around here." She chuckled, "I mean after all I'm sure she'd like to know of any visitors to the pridelands. He came from the desert so this place was like a paradise to him."
She didn't mind the noseiness she did her own prying at times.
Bowing her head she grinned, "Nice to met you Mjrn. It's a lovely name, you're pelt is just as unique as it." Her tail flickered as she pondered. "Indeed if you wish, maybe we can find him. Big brute mostlikely gotten himself in trouble by now." She chuckled as she looked around. "Should we split up or look together in a small range?"

“Let’s stick together, I know of a few good places we could look.”
Mjrn chimed and stood up. As she did this she took in the other lioness’s beauty, smiling softly. She was a lovely yellow color and looked almost like gold, much like the royal family.
“Is this male your mate?”
She asked.

Zuri nodded and smiled. "Okay then, this should be fun." She said chuckling, "Like playing hide and seek wouldn't you think?"
She shifted her weight on her paws before moving next to Mjrn. She looked at the younger lioness and for a second blushed, "No, no we've just met." She shook her head ear flickering softly as she looked around a moment.
"Shall we start looking then?"

Mjrn’s smile only grew bigger as she nodded and walked beside her new friend. This was going to be fun; it was like a game of hide and seek! Her eyes narrowed some as she eyed Zuri for a moment.
"Let's split up and meet up here again later, alright?"
With that Mjrn jumped off. She would find this male! She just had to.
