Larka stretched her muscles, her jaws lowered as a yawned escaped flashing her white fangs. She had been living in this unfamiliar and abondoned territory for some time. She had wandered it searching for a pack or some sort of wolf life but found none. She didn't dare enterthe already taken lands around her unaware of if they would accept her as one of them. Her blue eyes scanned the area. Starting at a light run she searched the area for prey.

Kiba heavy paws lifted with bits of sand falling from his claws. he had just barely left the desert in search of new prey and a cool fresh water source for the rest of the gang. His nose twitched slightly as a blurry vision of trees seemed to be getting closer. Not growing excited for a simple reason it might be his imagination. Quickening his pace he moved faster towards the formation of trees.

Sniffing at the ground she picked up the faint tracks of a rabbit. Slowly following as caught sight of it. A smirk was plastered to her face, it would hopefully be an easy catch. Larka moved closer towards it, eventually changing to a sprint as she chased it. "Darn!" She muttered as the rabbit entered a small den. She began to whimper and whin as she dug at the outside of the entrance.

Kiba entered the brisk shade of the beautiful forest. His paws ached from the long journey had he hadn't eaten in days. Kiba began to venture deeper into the forest. So far he had been lucky, no scent markings. The area was quite beautiful, green lush grass flowers blooming in a spray of different colors.Tree's grew tall shading the sun from the forest floor. It was more like a jungle then anything, the area around felt full of moist air. Leaves dripped water, his golden eyes took in everything, including fresh grass flattened into the form of a wolf body. Someone was here.

Larka dug with no prevail. The hole was deeper then expected and fanned out over a large distance it would take hours if the rabbit hadn't already escaped though a different end. A gentle breeze rustled her fur as a unfamiliar scent caught the attention of her nose. "A wolf? I didn't know there was a pack here." She said to herself, she began to back track following the scent.

Kiba rubbed his tongue over his muzzle as he sniffed the ground where the wolf had been. He began to slowly move through the area and eventually spotted the almost pure white femme with black markings, and from what he could see, beautiful pale blue eyes. he scanned her fully her scent matched one unseen wolf farther back. "This your land?"

A shy smile sweapt over her face as she moved closer to the male wolf. His fur whiter then snow, with mysterious yellow eyes. "No, actually this land isn't taken as far as I can tell. I was passing through looking for a home."

Kiba cocked an eyebrow. Unclaimed lands, could be just the place he was looking for the rest of them and himself to settle. "Really now." he said as he lifted a paw slowly moving towards her. He stood directly beside her eyes gazing straight before he slowly moved his head looking into her eyes. "Have you eaten yet?"

A faint blush colored the skin under her fur, she could almost swear he could see it. "No, actually i havn't." She replied a dreamy look in her eye. From the way he was acting she'd have to say he didn't have a mate, but was extremely interested in these lands.

Kiba nodded as a sly smile crossed his face. "Care to join me?" he slowly began to move ahead. The the mist soaked into his fur, running water could be heard not to far away. usually where there was water a source of prey was near or close by. He decided to check there first, besides he was practically dying of thirst.

Larka's ears shot up, she was hapy he had invited her. Hunting and being alone wasn't no life for a wolf, they were socialable creatures and she was definately one of those who loves meeting new people and being part of a group. "Yes I would love to join you." She answered in a meek yet polite tone. She turned and would follow whereever he went to. She wasn't picky over what they ate.

With that Kiba nodded and began to lead towards the water. The sound grew louder as they approached. Not fully showing himself his eyes over looked the area. A herd of deer had just settle for a drink. The river wasn't too large but large enough they couldn't leap over it fully. Several thick and flat rocks would provide a faster route. "There. We'll use those rocks. Split them off and round one in."

Larka's eyes scanned the water, he was correct they would supply a fast route to catching their prey. A satisfied grin crossed her face, handsome and clever. Larka's pale blue eyes curiously peeked towards him sweeping over his body, so far she loved everything about him, and she barely knew him. It was strange. Out of all the males she had met not once had she felt this way. She shook her head in disbelief, what was she thinking? She must focus her attention on the meal, but could she do that?

Kiba happened to glance her way seeing her eyes glued to him. He couldn't help but smile, a femme who showed interest in him. He sprint from the hiding place towards the river leaping over the rocks. The deer fled before his paws touch the first rock. He quickly followed behind them, knowing the female would be close behind to cover his back.A thought struck him hard, 'How could I be so stupid?! I didn't even ask her for her name.'

Larka took into pursuit behind the white male. Her ears kicked forward as she leaped over the spraying mist of the river. Her claws clicked against the rough stone as her weight landed. Her paws contracted as she forced herself to leap onto the dry green covered land. A excited smile swept over her face as she rounded in a different direction the scent of the prey still lingering in the air. It wasn’t hard for her to tell where the male and the prey were in fact her instinct were keen. The wind slightly shifted giving her better knowledge as she planned the perfect time and place for the ambush. The scent shifted as the deer rounded the turn as expected. All Larka had to do was wait.
