Okay......I've decided since it's been so long keeping up my damned porn crap, I'm going to keep my avvy turned around until the day that I break the habit. Pray dearly that I will break it and pray that the next time you see my avvy, he's turned around, smiling bigger than ever. Be happy for me, because I'll have finally broken these chains. God be with you all, and me in my time of need. wink
UPDATE: Guys, I've talked with my pastor at church and he says that he's going to help me get through this. This is a most triumphant moment. My walk with Jesus is getting longer, but I hope with this newfound accountability, I may be free from the chains once and for all.

many struggle with it, It is there and we can be ashamed of it because it makes us fall from what we strive for. as we Live For God!.
temptaion does not make sin.
but if you fall through that temptation. then it becomes sin.
Habbits that i started and do
1 "Pray ceasinly" DOnT STOP PRAYING!.
2. Give everything to God.
3. if it is on your commputer Block those sites if you know how or try to avoid them .
4. PRAY
5. know that temptaion comes in thought and when you get the first thought and wanting to look at porn. or think about it pray.
6. find someone who is the same gender as you who is a strong Chrsitian as a accountability partner who will Build you up and you can tell them where you fell that week into a "sexual sin"
It is not easy but i pray for everyone in it

When you stop getting the urge to look?

i don't think stopping that habit is so much not having the urge to look at it again but more of being able to finally, when that urge does come, not to fall to it. to be able to keep one's self from viewing things that would keep us from a better relationship with God.
i have the same problem...a little escalated now....but i'm having to fight that same basic sin. it's all rooted in selfishness though so that is the main sin that everything we do is based on b/c we try and do things for our own pleasure instead of God's pleasure. so in reality it is our own selfishness that we need to fighting and if we can in the end become strong against that it can help with all the other problems as well. it's an up hill battle that will never be 100% won until we leave this world and enter wholly into God's kingdom. keep praying and resisting your own nature, don't get discouraged if you fail. it'll happen we're human. we just have to keep going, to persevere and paul put it.

When you stop getting the urge to look? Breaking the habit, as in stop looking at it. There's always gonna be that urge there, no matter what. sweatdrop I've only been able to stop for about 2 weeks at most and then broken down again.
