I say they are both over rated as well
plus the fact that they are both different styles
but over all... between the two... hate the band... but i say Ryan..

flowergirl01 I personally think both are extremly over rated. I vote for victor wooten. I second that. However, Ryan Martine has a good growling bass tone, well, on mudvayne's earlier cd's that is.

for the genre he play's He's pretty good. I'm not too big on the new hard rock/nu metal sound.
But I would definatly have to say flee. He's more versatile with genres. he's also more dynamic

He's more versatile with genres. he's also more dynamic Im0 Im not much for metal at all their cd L.D. 50 had some bad a** bass lines tho... and it was way different than what they do now
