I know some of you wish to advertise our guild all across Gaia, and the fact that you wish do do so is wonderful! However, most of the forums do not allow advertising for guilds, and I don't want anyone getting themselves, or the guild itself, in trouble with the forum moderators. If you want to advertise for the GPA, please feel free to use one of the banners located here (yes, you can click on it! 3nodding ) to put into your signature, or make one of your own.

I am deeply apologetic if I got anyone in trouble.

Now that I have thurougly made a complete a** of myself, I would wish that others do not follow down the same road...

I never thought to address this manner beforehand, mainly because I didn't think anyone would try to advertise the guild anywhere but in their sig. I'm not entirely certain, but we may be able to advertise in the CB, because they say in the rules that clubs, guilds, and the like are allowed. 3nodding

At least you took steps to remedy your mistake, as did I.

No actually, and you're punishing yourself awfully hard. There was no harm done, as you were simply told not to advertise in the gaming discussion. Its really that simple. Mistakes happen all the time, and nobody got banned/flammed/etc, so no need to worry about it. I say we just drop the matter right here and now, alrigh? 3nodding

No actually, and you're punishing yourself awfully hard.

Indeed, and there was some gain from it, as I doubt I was the only person to have stumbled across the thread in the Gaming Forum. Mistakes are made to be learned from, and no real harm was done.

Repeat threads there and in the subforums cause a good deal more trouble than that.
