...I was the only one too stupid to realise "TORCHWOOD" was an anagram of "DOCTOR WHO"?
xD; Seriously. I only had it POINTED OUT TO ME weekend before last.

Torchwood was used as a secret code name for Doctor Who when it was being filmed in 2005. In 2006's season, Torchwood began to get canonical, in the form of a company, fist mentioned in like Bad Wolf. Then, since then, the whole fist season went by, and after that the Arc word was Torchwood for Season 2. Like Bad Wolf was for season 1 and Mr. Saxon for season 3.

Still cool though, since I wondered a little about why somebody would want to call a place "Torchwood" (Doctor Who season 2: Tooth and Claw)...
