Ever since they left port, Lindsey just seemed to be in utter bliss. The sea was truly her home, but her heart reaches out to her suriving brother and his lover, with their unborn children. She knew their lives would be set and as her is just beginning. Leaning on the railing of the ship to the right, she looked upon the glassy surface of the calm waters. All her midnight black hair wasa unbraided and flew around her like cascading waterfall of darkness upon her shoulders. Lindsey herself didn't mind to wear black pants with the belly-button black shirt that was her only support of her medium-sized c average chest. Wearing a sheer black patterned shirt with red, pink, anad purple flowers, it just made her look more decent than rugged when she wore it on top of the tight black belly-button shirt.

Her bright blue eyes scan the waters, the sky calm above them, the water below them shine with a gloss that only nature could've provided. She let her mind wander while watching the waves overturn themselves.

Yes it was a good day for relaxing it seemed as most of the crew was lax in their duties. There was little wind to move them across the water and the boat hadn't any ores so they were at the mercy of the currents and the winds. Orianna didn't bother repremanding them as there wasn't much to do if they were stuck. Lucky for them the currents were not overly strong here or they would be dragged off course.

They were on their way to Tortuga as it was one of their only other ports. Some of the crew disliked the idea of going to what is widely known as a pirate port but Orianna insisted for some reason. Today she was out and about in her usualy pants but had skipped having a shirt on under her now buttoned up long vest. She walked along the deck looking for a breeze to grab the sails. The rocking below the ship felt normal to her and she easily glided across the wooden planks. She paused in her tracks when she spotted a very relaxed and lovely Lindsey leaning on the rail.

"The sea seems to beckon you as it does me. Maybe you should have started sailing earlier in life." The captain said quirking a smile at the elf woman. "Do those cloths hold up well to the work you do? They look like they may tear easily."

"They allow me to move without restraint.. Elven cloth works miracles," Lindsey murmured as she turned her face towards Orianna. "I have a love for the sea as I do for the land.. but I love the mysteries of the ocean, it lulls me with its wild savagery and calming temperance," she said as she breathes in the ocean air and was satisifed for the moment. "Half the crew thinks the boat is haunted," she informed her, as she simply smiles teasingly.

"Now that would be interesting." Orianna said as she thought about it. "Never met a ghost before. Maybe it is just haunted by memories." She chuckled a little and then shook her head. One of the crew, a man known as Robert, came to stop next to Orianna. "Excuse me Captain..." Cool grey eyes moved to rest on the tall sailor. "There seems to be a problem with the cargo. Part of it is missing." Robert backed up a few paces each time he said a word and rightfully so as Orianna's whole visage darkened drastically. "What do you mean missing? What part?" A growl would sound more friendly then the captain's voice at the moment.

"I took inventory like you told me. There is a barrel of whiskey and ale missing as well as some of the dried meat." It was unusual for a man to cower before a woman especially on a ship but thats what was happening. Orianna seemed five feet taller when she was angry and she grabbed the man's hair pulling him roughly closer to her. "Then I suggest you find the barrels and food or someone's hide is going to be feeding the fish." She then shoved him away before turning to some of the crew that had been staring. "If I amuse you so much go help him!" She then staulked back to her cabin and slammed the door behind her.

Robert trotted off to hunt for the missing suppiles as TK stood blinking a bit. He glanced over to Lindsey and sighed. "This happens every time we get new crew...One of them things the supplies are for us and carries part of them off." He shook his head again. "How ye be fairing Ms Lindsey?" He had been kind to the elf and helped her learn things if she didn't know about them.

"I'm fairing well TK," Lindsey said as she looked forward at the crew. She had noticed some of them are nervous and the rest are curious as to who took some of the supplies. As well, she shifted her body weight to look more straight ahead. "TK.. do me a favor. Put this in a sack of ale and set it upon the supplies," she said and gave TK a small vial of blue liquid before she went down to the gallows, but instead of going to her room, she headed straight to the captain's chambers, then knock softly then stepped backward.

Beyond the door there was thunk which vibrated the wall next to the door. Then some shuffling around inside before the door swung open. Orianna looked grimmly at the lovely elf, frigid grey met vibrant blue. "Yes?" The captain asked even as she broke eye contact and grabbed a throwing knife that was embedded in the wall that had vibrated before.

"May I enter?" Lindsey asked quietly as she watches the captain. Nothing more than this moment had made her despaired for Orianna, she knew the captain was counting on selling the supplies and trading for good load of money. Lindsey herself did offer more thana half of her money which seem to add up to 2,500 gold what she had on her, but Orianna turned it down. She entered anywaay and closed the door behind her. "Love.. its been done," she murmured.

"Over and over again it's been done despite my warnings and I gave everyone warnings." The merchant said as she took up a spot next to her desk and threw the knife again. It was one of her habits and it showed on the walls with all the knicks and dents. At least it was better then taking her angry out wholely on the crew like she use to do. "If I ever catch this one I swear to the gods I will not go easy on them. I've been too nice already." She threw another two knives and then looked at Lindsey. The Irish blood raged in her but the elf had found a way to temper the reaction even if she was unaware of it.

Lindsey went over to the irish lass and stood in front of her, holding out a poison vial that was blue. "We'll know who been stealing your supplies in matter of hours if they ever touch the fake I had TK planted," she murmured, as she looks up at Orianna. Holding the small glass vial between her index finger and her thumb, she showed it to Orianna.

The captain studied the small vial and then a small curve crossed her lips. "That...is very clever...devious." Then the captain let out a laugh. "You really are a woman after my own heart." She sat down on her chair and then looked up at her love. "So we just need to wait now."

"Its very effective, a natural poison," Lindsey said as she tucked it into a pocket to keep it safeguarded. "Let's just hope you don't have a weak stomach for what you about to see," she murmured as she simply sat on the captain's desk, crossing her legs.

Hours later after much hidden affection had past...

On the main area the ship, Lindsey just lean on the railing as she looked around. Her eyes were carefully darting through the sparse crew.

TK was mopping the deck yet he too glanced around wondering what Lindsey was looking about for. Orianna came out of her cabin and walked about the deck which made a few crew members nervious. It was only when the cabin girl came running out of the crew's cabins did the tension break. "Zack is sick! I think he is dying!" Orianna marched to where the ailing man lay on his bed. Sure enough at the side of his pillow was the tell tale blue poison that Lindsey had employed. "Well Zack...it seems you have been very bad."

Lindsey merely stayed in her position, as she looked up then went to Orianna where the dying man was laying. She then looked to Orianna, before she stayed at the door. All this time, she had on her serious face as she knew how bad the situation was at the moment.

Zack groans as he twitched, indicating he is losing control of his nervous system. Tossing and turning, he finally came up with blood spewing onto his blanket.

The captain didn't bat an eye as he heaved blood up. It wasn't until he was done with that action that she said anything. "Let this be a lesson to those who disobey me." She then turned and looked at Lindsey. "Is there anyone who knows how to cure this ailment? If not we will need to find a new member at Tortuga when we arrive." She would not hint that Lindsey had placed the poison. Besides the crew was already scared of her. No point in that spreading to her lover.

All Lindsey did was smile faintly at her current lover's disposition towards the others regarding the taking of needed supplies that was meant for selling not for taking by others. "I'm afraid not ma'am.. it seem that this poison is apparently uncurable," she said, adding enough sympathy into the statement but not enough for others to feel comfortable around her with a straight face.

Zack panted as he vomited up blood again on his blanket. "I.. sorry captain," he said, then did the action once again.
