Name Meaning: "Golden Fish"
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Height: 5'6"
Tribe: Southern Water Tribe
Physical Description --
Hair: Caramel-colored hair pulled up in to two buns on each side of her head, tied with white ribbons, with long bangs framing her face.
Body-type: Tall, lithe, pretty in an innocent way. She appears much younger than 24 - somewhere around 16 or 17. Personality --
Sakana is a quiet girl, who travels alone, and so realy doesn't have any friends. She's a nice girl though, and tries to be polite to everyone, but that doesn't mean she won't speak up when she feels there is a wrong, or that someone is mis-informed.
Likes:
The moon , stars, snow, flowers, and children.
Dislikes:
Rude people, large storms, dry humid places, and drunkerds.

Waterbender/Traveling Healer
Hobbies:
Singing and dancing.
Family background: Sakana's father, Kin'iro Haiiro, was a waterbender from the northern tribe. He was quite efficent in his abilities, and traveled independantly for a while, before settleing for life in the southern water tribe, where he met a lady by the name of Yukihana. Yukihana was also a waterbender, though perhaps less efficent, and found joy watching over the village children.
Haiiro came from a middle-high class, and Yukihana from a lower-middle class family, and one day Yukihana was taking care of her elderly parents, and struggeling to keep funds together. Haiiro had only just come to settle in the village when he met the young Yukihana, and when he heard about her predicament with funds, he helped her out. A romance began to blossom, and from there came Sakana.

One of those friends was an daughter from a Earth Nation family. The girl, Kikaru, tought Sakana much of what she learned about herbs from her mother, a botanist. Sakana had always been a caring, gentle soul, and the introduction to medicine would put her on a route that would bring her to her present occupation, traveling to villages offering pediatric care.
