Who: Hemi & Xanul
What: fun times with kin!
When: About now. I'm pretty sure that would make it after things are straightened up between Ed & Al... I hope. O_o)
Where: Remy's Library to start.
Why: Hemi makes a cute uncle! ^_^ & Xanul's fun! /randomness Hmm... a book a book a book. Chocolate tails swishing lazily behind him the light chocolate furred male tossed his scarf back over his shoulder & out of his way as he entered what he still considered his father's library though all of his family was often in and out of it. His 'real' family more than his house-family really. Which was kinda funny when one thought about it, since it was a room in that house. But they thought of it as Remus' library too and respected that and the kitsu who created it.
His father was out today. Gone to visit his mother. Hemi's tails wagged happily. That his parents were so much in love thrilled the 'baby' to no end. Now... what had he come in here for? Right. New book on healing. Ever since the near disaster with his 'brother' -in the sense that Edward was his sister's mate- and the overloaded automail Hemi had become almost as diligent about studying and bettering his healing 'gifts' from his mother as Liliana was with her potions. He felt he could have done better... healed Edward quicker or more fully, taken some of the burden off of Amaryllis...
Hemi sighed. That was only part of the problem. He had attacked that kitsu who looked so much like Ed. The one who was his brother, Alphonse. Which by Hemi logic now made Al his brother too. The brother of the mate of my sister is my brother. It weighed heavily on the cheerful and loving kitsu's heart. In retrospect, they had both only been protecting their own beloved siblings. But... Hemi felt the need to apologize to Alphonse.
Padding to the section on healing Hemi replaced the book he had finished, baby blue eyes thoughtfully scanning the titles for one he had not yet read. Would he have to ask Myranda for a new one?

Xanul yawned, rubbing at his eyes with a paw and opened them sleepily. He had woken up in the middle of the night, due to his boundless energy and couldn't go back to dreamland. So, the kit had been content with wandering around the library to find something to read. Or to be specific, find something that would either, one, consist of a growing or enlargement spell(For his mother's wings. Ayako had never flown with them, and he was wondering if he could make them bigger, she could fly!) or two, something about Nobodies. Sure, he had gotten lots of information about them from Xianthe, but he wanted to know more.
And it had seemed like the interesting books were on the top shelf. So, Xanul had climbed up, slowly but carefully, until he had settled himself in an empty space in the bookrack and started to read. But he had become sleepy again, and fallen asleep.
Now awake, Xanul found himself in a sticky situation. How was he to get down now? "Mommm?" He whined. He wasn't scared of heights, he just wanted to get down. And it seemed rather dangerous to climb down the way he had gone up. "Xelon? Swax? Bobbb? Help!" Bob was Xanul's pet, actually a portal he created. He still wasn't sure where he went though.

The sound of a kit did not surprise Hemi. There were plenty of kits and young ones around the house anymore it seemed. Which was amusing when one thought about the tales Trelweny told about how Lily & her siblings were the first direct children of her family other than her own son.
No... it was that the sound was above him.... and he was in the library. His first thought was that it was one of the girls, or the cream saver angelic. permakits with wings... but then he realized they would not have whined being high up. They would have dive-tackled him. Not asked for help.
Help? Spreading his wings Hemi flapped them carefully to lift himself up to the source of the call. His thoughts had only taken a matter of seconds. Baby blue eyes peered warm & concerned at the kit. "Hey... I'm not one of those... but maybe I can help?"
Keeping his height Hemi then did the totally natural thing for him and gave the kit male a comforting nuzzle with his nose.

The kit blinked up at the winged kitsusagi in surprise. Sure, he knew that many kitsus lived in the house, but he wasn't exactly expecting one. Where was his family anyway? Maybe they had went out to look for him, or simply presumed he had gone out on another one of his adventures. Either way, they were not here.
"Ooh, you have big wings!" That was the first thing Xanul had noticed. The kit brightened up instantly. "Mommy has wings too but hers are little so she doesn't really fly. So d'you think if they were bigger, she would fly too?" And take them on rides!
Oh yes, help. "I need to get down." Xanul pouted. "If I jump, I'll probably get hurt and then mommy would scold me." Sure, his mother could heal him, but he never liked being scolded by Ayako. It put her in a grumpy mood, which didn't suit her. It suited Saix though. Then at the nuzzle, the kit giggled. "Can you help me, please?"

Hemi chuckled, his baby blues crinkling.
Thought you might be one of Ayako's. I dunno if her wings can be enlarged. I really don't. Much less be permanent. But I always thought they should be magical." He was nodding, but there was a sad & pained look in his eyes. Ayako's wings had been the first visible of their litter. Why then had his grown & hers had not? A faint whimper came from him with those thoughts but Hemi tried to smile for his nephew.
"C'mon." He said with a grin, eyes dancing once more. "Hop on and I'll give you a ride down."

"You know my mommy?" Xanul questioned. How could he have forgotten? He had many uncles and aunties! Screwing up his face to think, Xanul listed out his uncles names. "So are you Uncle Romulus, Uncle Enue, Uncle Hemi or Uncle Aidan?" He couldn't exactly remember all his aunts names though. There were just too many.
"I want to try though!" The kit declared seriously. It could make his mommy happy as well! Eyes brightened happily. A ride! Oh yay! Xanul leaped on his uncle's back with a happy grin.

He whumphed softly with added playfulness at the weight of the kit. Hemi was laughing. "I'm Hemi. The youngest, until your grandparents have another litter." His eyes twinkled merrily at that thought, knowing there was a very good chance it should happen. Nari & Remus were very close after all.
Making sure the kit was secure he whooshed to the floor playfully. Only once landed did he address the other issue. "Of course you should try!" Then he looked at his nephew seriously. "Can you do magic?"

"Whee!" Xanul exclaimed as Hemi flew down to the floor. It was fun! He would have to let Xelon and Swax try too! He decided with a grin. "Ooh, more aunties and uncles?" The kit's eyes grew wide at that prospect. Which meant more people to meet and play with! Cool!
"Welll..." Xanul frowned, hopping off his uncle's back. "A little bit, I guess. And Bob's magic and all...since he could take me to daddy in such a fast time." He had gotten his wand, but hadn't exactly mastered the use of it. The kit still had no idea Bob was his creation, a portal. In Xanul's mind, Bob was his pet.

He laughed at the kit's excitement. Hemi was all about stuff that made others happy. Then he was laughing more at the kit's wide eyes. Hemi really wanted to get the whole family together again... all of them at once. Much fun!
"Bob?" Baby blues clouded in confusion. He did not know anyone named Bob. No wait... there was the human who two of the Medusa Nimlaurë knew lived with. Still... Hemi doubted his nephew would know that Bob any more than he did. "Bob got you to Saix's place?" Yes, he knew the name of the kits' father. It saddened him as much as his father that the male did not love his sister. Ayako deserved to be loved. "He apparated you there? Or teleported?"

The kit would definetely appreciate a family reunion. Meeting so many people that were related to him would be fun! And he could see Ucle Xigbar as well! Xanul longed to ask him more about his father.
"My pet." Xanul declared proudly. "He's black, swirly and round. Yup he did! Not Apparation though." The kit's nose wrinkled. He didn't exactly like feeling Apparating gave. "I'm not exactly sure. He just brought me to this tunnel and then he appeared again and brought me near where Daddy was."

"Black and swirly and round? And he took you to a tunnel?" Baby blue eyes blinked. Now why did that sound familiar? Something Audio Relm had said about traveling... with Kaleb? The pictomancer had been disappointed she could not duplicate the complex patterns. The audio mage's portals were white though. They couldn't be similar... could they? Besides... this was an Organization thing, Hemi was pretty sure. Remus had explained it after speaking with Uncle Xigbar...
The wizard laughed. "The Organization portals!! So you can do that?" His look of 'oh cool!' flickered to 'oh boy' and with a cough Hemi grinned and went on. "I mean Bob. Bob can make portals?"
Bob might be the portal, Hemi suspected. But he was accustomed to his aunt Chroma and her insistence that a bunny brought kitsu eggs so had no problem going along with this for a while. It was kind of cute. 4laugh

Xanul tilted his head. The Organization? Wait, yes, Organization XIII! Xianthe had told him quite a lot of information about it, and about his daddy as well. She hadn't explained about the portals though.
His brow furrowed slightly. "So Bob's the one making the portal? But how did he get those powers?"

Uh-oh. Maybe going along with this 'Bob' thing was not the best idea Hemi had aver had. His eyes flicked in his awkward feeling and he shuffled his paws. "I don't know, really. I only know a little about portals... mostly just that they are possible and that Uncle Xiggy," Oh yeah... he just went there. "and the others like him can travel with them so it stands to reason some of their kits can."

"So you're saying..." Xanul began slowly, taking this information in. "Either Xelon or Swax...or I made the portal? Which is Bob?" The kit wasn't entirely stupid, really, though...his siblings were asleep at that time. How could they have made that?
"You know," The kit began, swishing his tails. "Mommy's getting rather tense these days. Something about the moon."

"Eh... yeah." He grinned, chocolate tails wagging. "Don't know what Bob is though. I'd have to meet him to know for sure really.: Okay... maybe the whole 'Bob' thing was better left to the kit's parents. Hm... that would not be nice to do to his sister though.
But as he was thinking about what to do or say about Bob, Xanul caught him off guard with bringing up the moon. His chocolate ears fell, tails stilled. In fact his entire happy & cheerful countenance fell. "Yeah, well... that would be all of us, little guy. Though maybe more for your mom this time than the rest of us." He spoke softly then sighed heavily. "You guys should be safe though, I hope... a generation away..." But really no one knew, could they? Remus was the first werewolf in wizard record to have children... then grandchildren. And they were kitsusagi. Things seemed to pass down differently for their species as well. Like wearing clothes or not. Or was that not genetic? It was confusing. Hemi shook his head, red & gold scarf swaying with the motion. "The whole family gets more than a bit worked up over the moon. And I hear your dad gets his powers from it. So... well... no one really knows what this full moon will bring."
He and his siblings had not been told of their father's condition until the full moon. If Ayako had not told her kits... was it really Hemi's place to let them know?
