You know you're an addict~
When you spend more than half of your day on MS. Seriously. See how long I've been logged on this week? Before yesterday, it was only a couple of hours. @.@;;
ANYWAYS... Jeebus hates meh. As I've stated. Yesterday, I said something to my friends about something or another, and Kitsu was all "You're not getting in good with Jesus. 8D" then I was like "I know. 8D"
He bit me in the a**. Hard.
I ended up searching for lupins. And since I'm a cleric, I figured "Meh.. Why the hell not go into the trees?"
Because that's where Jesus staged his comeback. He so did. o_o I was fighting zombie lupins for at least 20 minutes, and used over 80 manas in those twenty minutes.
I was looking for bananas for the Sauna Robe quest. sweatdrop
Hopefully things go better for today.. I donated 50k to two of my friends yesterday, this eliminating most of my mesos... But hopefully I can make it back soon. x3;

Rawr. Not a Cleric, but several of my friends are, and I've absorbed quite a bit of the knowledge about them.
You want to max MP Eater. MP Eater is your friend! Stops you from constantly using MP pots, which are, after all, very expensive. The standard wisdom is to max everything except Holy Arrow (because it suxxorz), and put 11 points in HA. Or put those 11 points in Magic Armor or something, because you will NEVER use HA to level.
As for order? You have two choices, the Solo build or the Party build.
Solo:
1 MP Eater>Max Heal>1 Tele>Max MP Eater>Max Tele>Max Invincible>Max Bless
Party:
1 MP Eater>Max Heal>1 Tele>Max Bless>Max Invincible>Max Tele

I met up with Za today. He helped me get the bananas for the Sauna robe quest. Which reminds me. If anyone has any items for that that they won't need, I'll buy/take them off of your hands. Preferably diamond.
ANYWAYS.. I've only been on for a few hours, gotten some EXP.. Nothing special as of yet. ^_^

Bless is always useful. Holy Arrow (even maxed) is outclassed by a single point in Shining Ray. You make the judgement call...

Actually, I'd suggest you to go with preference with your cleric, not by what others tell you. There are indeed places that you can level with Holy Arrow. Sometimes heal at level 10 is more than enough. Sometimes Bless can go shove itself out a window. Sometimes MP Eater isn't worth it. And of course, the opposite can be said for each and every one of those comments. A cleric is what you make of it. There's no perfect way to level a cleric. If'n you want, I can get you into contact with this guy that.... Well, let's just say that I've never met a more knowledgeable person when it comes to Maple Story. He likes to make builds of all different types for all different classes, such as his famous 1 bolt - 0 claw fire mage. So he knows his stuff, what works, and what doesn't work.

I met up with Za and Kitsu today. Kitsu's dead set on becoming a Sin before the day's over, but before that could happen, we needed to train. So we were going around the map, doing nothing special.
Then we met up with someone Kitsu and I met yesterday. A really nice Bandit, and someone who's helped me with Shmooki a bit. Like... Spending a few hours in the land of the boar with us, thus, earning us all much EXP.
That was untill someone came and kept asking to get into our party. I defamed him, then he chased me around a few maps, saying "thank u thank u 4 dfaming me now im gonna mass dfame u"
Should I be worried? neutral
OH. I swear to God, I found no less than six pairs of weight earrings today. >_>

August 9th
Awww, you're so kyoot... SONUVABITCH~
So.. yesterday, I found myself in Orbis. So I decided to try and make it all the way down the tower.
DAMNIT, I DIDN'T. ._. I died on around... Floor three or four. But I ended up in El Nath.
Why I wanted to go there, only God can say, really. oO I wasn't able to buy my starlight, or buy a Fairy Wand, or anything else I needed for high levels.
So I tried going into the areas where the yetis are. I still thank the Lord for teleport. ._.
Along the way, I saw this really nice fire mage. Level 50+. He told me that there was nothing for me untill I was level 50+ after the portal.
Of course I listened, and returned to El Nath immediatly.
I then started my trek to the tower, in which I met another high leveled ******** A, why can't I be a high leveled mage?
Oh.. Right.... Because I'm lazy. <<;;
ANYWAYS. I used a tower scroll because I wasn't about to go through all of the Jr. Pepes. Those things are still bitches to me. So when I did, guess what I did? Went back down the tower. But this time, only a few floors. x_x
I found out that Jr. Senties are more profitable, EXP-wise, then regular senties.
Like.... I get 40 EXP per Jr. 55 EXP per Sr. I kill Sr.s with three hits, Jr.s with two. I can kill three Jr.s with the same amount of mana I can kill two Sr.s with.
So I get t he better deal by killing three Jr.s
ANYWAYS. I went back up the tower when I was done, then decided to check out these gardens of color.
THEY'RE SO ******** CUTE. crying
Now I know why they make you rich. Most people I know can't stand killing them over and over.
So I tried going for the Sr.s.
Damnit, does leveling do anything? oO Wasn't able to hit them. At all. They got me, though.
Next, I went back to Victoria after an hour or so of training at Orbis. Again, I loved telelport, without it, I would have had to wait another fourty minutes untill the next boat.
On the boat, everyone was arguing over how a cleric doesn't suck. I felt neglected. crying
It was all "Oh.. You're a cleric. Cleric's suck. They can't attack. They can't solo."
Which I found offensive. I solo most of the time. When I was level thirty, I damn near soloed King Slime because the newbs I was fighting with didn't listen and stay on the platforms. I'm able to solo drakes, and have been able to solo things like fire boars, senties, leatties, and things of the sort, since level 25.
I know you're not a cleric at level 25, but still! ._. I'm smart enough to solo.. But I also love to help my friends. Which is a reason I chose cleric.
It turns out that he lusts for power. Wanted to be a fire mage. If anything levels the fastest, it's thunder/ice mage, in my opinion. Clerics are supposed to be the richest, and Fire wizards are supposed to be the strongest. .-.;
ANYWAYS... I got back to home. I landed in Ellinia, and then got bored and signed off. When I signed back on, I went to somewhere around Kerning. I met this awesome Sin and Ice wizard there. I got a brown starlight from this Sin for 120k. ******** ONE-HUNDERED AND TWENTY THOUSAND. o_o Needless to say, I thanked the lordeh lordeh I had the mesos. It's only one below in weapon def, but still. That's a good deal.
He's still set on thinking that was worth only 150k. ninja Shhh...
ANYWAYS... Later, I partied with him. And he cast haste. Thus, making us go "VRWHOOSH"

Then.. He said what scared the ******** outta me. "Let's go hunt a rog!"
.... HELLO?! I'm ******** level 33, and you want me to go into the sanctuary?
Alright. :3
And that I did. I was able to kill Cold Eyes AND Tauros. o.o Not alone, of course. But I was able to hit the Tauro. I love the person who told me to level up magic guard. crying I died eventually, but I'm honored to say that it was at the hands of a Tauro. The ice mage we were with had already died. Before me. o.o But the fire mage was still going, shooting 1000+, casting that.... tree... thingy. and the sin was still hopping around like a child on a sugar rush and who had just had a bowl of crack.
Then I signed off again, returning at around 11 PM. I just wandered around a bit, got bored and tired, then signed off for the night around 12.
Today, I had found...

Yay comments. If you don't like my commenting, just say so, and I'll go back to posting in my own journal. ninja
1) Yes, Sr. Sentinels suck for leveling. They suck even more for other classes, because of the ****ing magic attack, and that their WDef is about TRIPLE their MDef. Lucky mages.
2) Yes, Clerics CAN solo. Heck, one of my friends (a Lv74 cleric) is more than capable of taking an entire Zombie Lupin Tree. The only problem with that is against any non-undead monster, you're more or less stuck with Magic Claw. And Magic Claw doesn't get MUCH stronger over the levels, whereas almost every other class is getting huge power jumps at Lv40, Lv50, and so forth.
3) Nice find on the Starlight, though I question the utility of a +Luck equipment for a mage. It's a different story with bowmen, since nothing except our bows requires Str, but since most of the mage equips have a Luk requirement, it's rather hard to get the full value out of a Luk Starlight. At least, that's how I see it.
4) Magic Guard is your friend. In fact, Magic Guard is the single thing I miss most about being a mage (I was a Lv47 Ice wizzy in Beta). Yes, even more than Tele. Heck, you can probably take a hit from the Crimson Balrogs and live. Me? Not a chance.
5) "that.... tree.... thingy." Meditation. +1MAtk for 10 seconds, per level. So Lv6 is 6MAtk for a minute. Good for mages.

1. Yeah... I'm not going to train with them untill I can get them down in one hit. Because by the time I can get them down in two hits, I'll be able to take the Jr.s out in one. xD
2. I love being a cleric. I'm fine with my claw, really. I'm not a power whore. I can take down most things I like with my claw. Albeit a bit slow at times, but it gets the job done. And I look forward to being able to go down into the sanctuary. People say that clerics suck? They won't be saying that when a cleric solos the balrog one day. xD
3. If that's the case, then I can sell it for like.. 400k. I remember checking to see how much it cost, and it was around 450k. So if I sell it for 400, I'll be able to get a green or dark one.
But if my friend finds the green or dark before I sell it, then, I'm 200k richer. *Whoever found it would sure as hell get half of it from me. x_x*
4. xD Another good thing about being a mage. Although I never did max it, because I was being idiotic and started to max out Magic Armor. x_x I can't wait for the SP cards to come out.
5. Yeah. Sorry about being so vague about it. I had forgotten the name of the technique.

She's got a male mage, as the top-of-journal screenie clearly shows. domokun Females don't wear Green Wizard Robes. And about the "use" for HA... show me something that a Cleric can't KB with Claw, and I'll show you something the Cleric shouldn't be attacking in the first place.

By all means, go ahead. Just remember (1) You can't compete with the other classes for damage. Lv60+ non-mages heart DSGs. (2) Most of the DSG maps have a buttload of Curse Eyes, as well. So you'll end up using Claw quite a bit anyway. (3) HA sucks. 70 base damage just doesn't cut it.
And Tsuki, about the MA/MG thing, how many points did you put in MA? If it's not too many, you could probably max MG with the 11 "spam" points from second job (Heal+Bless+Invincible+MPEater+Tele is only 110, and you have 121 total, so...)
