SOLYK. As some of you know, I gots no period. I just never got it. And if you haven't gotten it at 16, it means s**t could be wrong. SO I went to the doctor about it.

The basic causes are:

1. Benign tumor
2. Lack of organ/organs [v****a, cervix, ovaries, uterus]
3. Hormone problems
4. Endocrine problems
5. RLY late development

And I went through the list and was like

1. This is rare, prolly isn't it.
2. I had bladder problems when I was little, they'd have noticed a lack right?
3. This makes a lot of sense because I have a lot of the symptoms for it.
4. Dunno much about this
5. Well no, because I have some things that come with puberty and not others

So she took blood and scheduled me for an ultra sound. She said because I used to be SOO SMALL and just in the last year started catching up it could be that, so we'll do endocrine testing if I've not gotten it by christmas.

Got the ultra sound earlier. And she was all "I THINK I see a left ovary, but I'm not sure." She's sending the pictures to the radiologist to see if they can find things, but she doesn't think they'll find anything. So I'm being scheduled for a CT/CAT scan to check out more.

My doctor said it shouldn't be hard to find them in the ultrasound because I'm thin, soo yeah. Not a good ting that they can't find stuff.

Good chance that I don't have ovaries/uterus. Meaning NO KIDS FOR PIXIE.

My doctor called. All the blood tests came out fine, so it's not a hormonal problem. They couldn't get a clear enough picture in the ultrasound to confirm anything, so I'm getting a CT scan. The hospital is going to call to schedule it.

Sometimes girls don't get their periods if they are underweight or overweight (like me), or it could have something to do with your family history too. I'm sure things will be alright.

Here's hoping it's really #5, so you do get periods by christmas. (What a gift to get. o_O;; )

The whole "I think I see it" kinda makes me take pity. Reminds me of the fat guys who can't find their p***s because it's hidden... by the obvious. (NOT IMPLYING ANYTHING.)

Well, unless you wanted kids, you're not missing anything.

Really. I'd give a lot to not have periods. Osomuch.
But then again, I don't want kids.

I want kids REALLY bad.
I've always wanted kids.
Or just a kid.

And it doesn't matter that periods suck, I just feel like a pathetic excuse for a girl. I have No boobs (seriously. It's not that their small, it's that they haven't developed), and no period. I feel like a little girl.
I feel really emo saying it, but I really just want to be normal.

No but it's better than not having children.

I think it'd be better, personally, because then you have a kid, you love the kid, kid loves you, you get all the wonderness of being a mother without having to go through labor and pregnancy and morning sickness and all that.

Hmmm, maybe it's just really late development then from what you've said. I got my period when I was in 5th grade. Most of my friends got theirs in 8th grade or later than that.

Well, I'm hoping that they find something for you, maybe yours is tilted back a little more. My mom's is slightly tipped back.
