 The sun was hight in the sky. It was a day without cloud. The stallion was standing near the water looking his reflect in the water. He was as bright as the sun, and as hot as him. His name meaning was "fire" and it suited him. His spirit was strong but really arrogant too. He didn't spend time with other, because well others become upset when he talked.

Jaslyn, of course, was near the river dozing a bit with the sound of Jem in the background splashing. They hadn’t been together today but it was enough for both of them to at least be able to either vaguely hear or see the other a few times a day. Some would probably call that clingy, she just figured it was the way things were. Shifting her weight and moving towards the water’s edge the mare nearly spooked at the sight of another across the other side, “Oh.. Hello.”

Rowtag looked toward the voice he just heard. Someone was talking to him, strange. It was a mare, a purplish mare with flower marks. He thought she was good looking and stared at her.
"Hello you" his chatting up side come back again. He stood up and walked in the direction of the mare.

Jaslyn smiled a bit lazily, she liked it when folks decided to talk back to her instead of down or not at all. Shaking her heavy mane from side to side she propped up a hind leg and waited for him to get within a comfortable talking distance. Ahh, much better. “I suppose I’ll say hello again.. And I am Jaslyn.. Your name, sir?”

He decided to walk toward the mare. I liked speaking with mare, well in general he liked all the mare. He didn't come to close to not afraid her. Then he bowed a little.
"I'm Rowtag, nice to meet you Jaslyn, flower of my day."

“It’s a pleasure to meet you Rowtag.” Her eyes scanned over him. He had a yellow-ish coat and unusual hair too. She hadn’t met very many Soquilis that had anything even like that and of course, she’d have to remember. Jaslyn blushed for a moment before composing herself. “A shameless flatterer? Well, I will not reject a compliment.”

Apparently she was not too shy so he came closer. He looked better at her. She has long dark hair. Actually she was really pretty.
"I only say what i think. You're a beautiful mare. A compliment is always du to beautiful flower." He smiled at her gently.

Jaslyn stood quietly as the stallion moved closer to her. He wasn't likely to scare her anytime soon and it was doubtful to her that he'd even have thoughts of scaring her off.
"Well then, I suppose I must thank you for thinking me to be a beautiful flower?" Most of her life she hadn't been considered overly pretty by Soquilis.. Humans were amused by the odd color of her coat, but that was all right...

The stallion smiled. He was now in front of her. He bowed again like a prince.
"No need to thank you for a compliment." He thought maybe she was the same as him. The other looked him like an odd soquili because of his hair. The fact he was a winged one made other even much jealous.
"You don't need to take care of the jealous one, i assure you, you're beautiful."
