Arthur falls out of the sky, landing in a desert, covered in dusty, pale pink sand. The sky is a pale orange, and there are mountains on the horizon. he can't see Strato anywhere... except a brief shimmer of light under the burning red sun. He raises an eyebrow, and kicks the dust into the air. SOme catches the invisible wizard, and he coughs, an oppurtunity Arthur uses to bull him to the floor, excalibur pointing at his face.
Strato sends a lightning bolt up the blade, a move Arthur wasn't expecting. He roars in pain, and the sword flies from his grasp, recovering even as he was disarmed, he whipped out his secondary blade, sending a burst of flames from the tip toward the wizard, who flies into the air to avoid it, sending further lightning raining down on Arthur, as he ducks to avoid it, he drops the fiery blade, pulls out his rifle and sends two bursts at Strato, a bullet clipping his leg sends the old man crashing to the ground. He struggles to recover, but by now Arthur has pulled Excalibur out of the ground, Strato shoots lightning in a disarming attempt again, but this time Arthur is ready for it, twisting the bolts back along the blade and back at their progenitor, the energy sending the surprised hermit flying backward, as Arthur jumped upon his, seizing up oth his blades and plunging them into the ground on either side of the fallen wizard, his rifle pointing at Strato's face. He breathed hard. "Why have you brought me here?" He asks through stolen breaths.
Strato smiles wryly, despite his quick defeat at the hands of the king. "Why, to kill you and usurp your kingdom of course. I have an agreement with the various rulers of this realm..." he begins...

Lucidity landed on his feet next to Arthur. "You've got to admit...he's got a good reason."

Arthur rolls his eyes. "Whatever. I trust you can take us back?"
"It doesn't quite work that way, portals can only be opened by natives, and are only one way."
"So we find some goblin, and he lets us back."
"Not every goblin is a powerful mage, you fool..."
