Discus crimes that have to do with metal (ie by fans or bands, etc).
1. The church burnings by various Black Metallers.
2. Varg killing Euronymous.
3. Steve something (Thee Plague of Gentlemen) Child molestation
4. Bobby Liebling (Pentagram) beating up his 80 something year old dad.
That's all that comes to mind at the moment.

here's two more
gaahl being arrested for assault
infernus being arrested for not reporting a rape (although he didnt commit it, he still got jail time as an "accessory")
anyway - i think all of the criminal activities surrounding my favorite subgenre - black metal - are a bunch of childish bullshit. musicians should make music for the fans to enjoy - pretty hard to do when they're rotting behind bars. despite my love for black metal, all those church-burning, murdering guys make me wanna rip my hair out.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Church Burnings (ORLY HOLLOW!?). I can understand not taking up the religion, but going as far as to hate it so much that you burn other people's place of worship? Not cool.

My Hollow Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Church Burnings (ORLY HOLLOW!?). I can understand not taking up the religion, but going as far as to hate it so much that you burn other people's place of worship? Not cool. Yeah, I agree the church burnings are way too far.

My Hollow Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Church Burnings (ORLY HOLLOW!?). I can understand not taking up the religion, but going as far as to hate it so much that you burn other people's place of worship? Not cool. not only that but most of those churches were built on old pagan holy grounds. so the pagan-loving norsemen were basically burning the grounds they cherished so much. so not only were they being dumb@$$es, they were screwing themselves over too

All I really know is Varg and the burnings. Haha, I love to use that story about that murder to freak people out about BM. I heard that he wrote a book or something of that nature during his time in jail...thought that would be an interesting read, just to see what it says and whatnot.

Digital Malevolence I heard that the drummer from some band, not sure if they were metal or not, went crazy on stage and ate the lead singer.....thats a crime isn't it? 0.o Heard about a band with the 7 suicide tour. Every gig there was some random dude who commited suicide on stage.
