Ok got it... good thanks for taking your time to read that now here's the poem
The day the flowers grew red (the name)
As he sat there just thinking thinking about his bonnie lass his men came they came in masses asking wondering and thinking there blue uniforms looking just right dandy in the morning sun and as he looked at them he knew it was the last time he would see them for he would die but he knew that he could not see his lass for that would be in the hands of the almighty god and that he could not question for giving a quick last thought of his girl would hurt to much he yelled to his men FORM UP MEN AND GIVE THEM ALL HELL FOR IRELAND answered was this by a hearty EULALIA who are whe men, he shouted in a voice even the rebels could hear him and back at the man in the beautiful brass stars came a shout so tremendous so tremendous it shook the firm ground of that virgina soil for that cry was EULALIA saying a quick prayer for all the men that would taste copper that bloody day he thought his mind wandered to what we do not know but i will tell you this child he was going to die for ireland now as he shouted to his men the earth shook with a mighty rebel yell a yell that only one could be compared to the mightiest of yells for that yell was EULALIA and as they shouted the men grabbed the lead and steel and marched towards there doom did those brave men walk they flew that beautiful irish harp which by the day would be nothing more than a rag a rag a beautiful rag stained with mens blood this rag was a symbol for peace though for war to and for ireland and as they marched the ball flew at them and they took that lead those horrible flying pieces of death for they were irish it would take more than a bullet to stop them and they marched with lead in them for they walked on and they brave man in brass stars watched his men and his flag and he saw both fall rushing to the aid of a fallen man then to the precious flag he rushed forward yelling this GIVE 'EM BLOOD AND VINEGAR AND HELL! EULALIA! suddenly he saw the sky and he tasted copper and he thought "this is what its like to die" and above him a picture of his lass appeared and he touched her and held her and he whispered to her "i died for ireland girl i died for her" and then she started to go and he said then "why do you leave me" "because you must meet our lord" she whispered always like her to whisper and he three words that he wanted to say died on his lips but all that happened was blood he spoke blood and a veil came over his eyes and he whispered oh so softly "Of course darling i'll meet you at heavens gates" but before he was gone he heard something so famed so beautiful that to this day can be heard for it was the cry the cry of the celts the irish his men EEEEUUUUUULLLLAAAAAAALLLLLIIIIIAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that's a sad poem. I enjoyed reading it though. On a tiny note, you need to replace there with their since its ownership. For example, "their blue uniforms looking just right dandy in the morning sun." However, I like the patriotism and descriptive details that is lace within the poem. Nice job! 3nodding
