This is a large mountain on the edges of our pack-world. It stands out on the horizon and can be seen for miles. This also means that you can see for ages on a clear day if you manage to get to the top of this place. It's gernerally cold and clear on the mountain but there is alway a nice layer of snow on in, even near the foothills surrounding it.
It has a large number of caves running through it, leading one to believe that it was once a volcano. Near the middle of the mountain is the ruins of what appears to be the remains of a failed human settlement. The pillars of a walk way rise out of the snow and several abandoned houses make nice shelters for a tired wolf, no matter the form they are in at the moment.
When one looks up at the mountian from the very bottom, they can see how it got its name. The peak curves out like the beak of a huge falcon. With an active imagination, it's thought that the surrounding peaks look like the wings of the great beast. (Enjoy the reasonably cold place. =^.=.^=)

Karasu had pushed his way through the snow, so much like home, and found himself at the ruins. He found a place to rest on the huge stones of a collapsed house. Changing to his human form, he gazed off, looking at the world from a perspective that would make even the birds jealous.

A young black wolf that had a spot of white on her chest walked up beside him.
"Hello,nice day to be out!"

He looked down at the young wolf, his dark crimson eyes scanning her. "Hello. It is nice to be out isn't it?" The man lept down changing to a wolf as he landed. His black fur a sharp contrast to the snowy world around them.

"I don't know. Maybe explore a little bit?" He turn his head up the mountain, searching for the top in the clouds.

-digging out from his mini snow burrow Heilang appears in wolf form- "Yosh, where's the food?" -chuckle- "I happened to hear the word 'exploring'? What's there to explore?"

He laughs and nudges the pup over. "Have I now? And where would that idea be shown? As for where...here. Mainly the peak that is currently shrouded in mist and snow."

Shadows seep from Karasu's feet and he closes his eyes. "Yeah. I see. Shall we?"

Sage bites onto one of Karasu's front paws an they appear hiden in a bush a few yards away from the deer.

He blinks then closes his eyes. His thoughts ring into the pup's mind. `Shall we?` He's grinning with pure excitement.

Myhala (a blueish-gray she-wolf with white legs, stomach, throat, and bottom half of face) appeared silently beside them. "Weren't planning on going without me, were you?" she thought roguishly to Karasu, grinning toothily.

Karasu turned to the stranger. "Maybe...." He grinned before leaping off after the deer.
