I played quite a bit of Halo 3 yesterday, and I have to say, it really is a pretty good game. A fun shooter. But it's certainly not the second coming that everyone makes it out to be. I think one of the big things that sets it apart from being "average" is the way enemies flinch when you hit them. You know you've hit them and it's satisfying.
However, I have to say, the storyline is really confusing. I really had no problem following the first two Halos, but this one I'm like "Ok, how are the Flood just teleporting in from nowhere? What is everybody talking about? What the hell is going on?" My friend and I are on another Halo ring now and I don't even have the slightest clue why or how we got there.
