LADY OF THE LANDS The beautiful Saiyama reflected the sunset that evening. Her garments were of long soft fabric wrapped by a translucent shawl. She wore velvet bows around her striking red hair, and her earrings resembled dew drops. Her father's palace rested beneath her feet.
Saiyama hoped one day to travel the lands below the high palace, in a chariot with lots of horses, but her father refused her to set out on her own till she was married. The father was not a traveler himself, preferring to handle affairs in his kingdom. What prompted him to not trust the wide open?

It seemed as though he was in affair with other nations, perhaps. Saiyama was beautiful enough to receive threats of ransom and kidnapping, though they weren't as much as the King wanted to believe.
One day Saiyama rushed down the stairs with her gown trailing behind. She had a letter of proposal from someone, but she wanted to ask if it was alright. She had high hopes, indeed...
