The release of Halo 3 is today.
I am one of the many women who will inevitably become a "Halo Widow". Much like a "Football Widow", it is a woman who has lost their man to the Halo games, for they're so obsessed and into the game that they forget their woman exists, leaving her hot and bothered and lonely.
Well I plan on changing that, as my mom did many years ago.
Many many years ago my mom was a Football Widow, but broke the cycle when, during playoffs, my mom stood in front of the TV and stripped down to nothing, and demanded that my dad love her long time. xD
Now you're probably going "ZOMG GROSS DUN TALK ABOUT YER PARENTS LIKE DAT -GONK-", but it was effective then and I'm sure that if I do it it'll be effective now. But Matt is more strong-willed than my dad, and mom did it in the privacy of their own house when nobody was around, so it'll be more difficult for me.
My theory? I'll just rip the controller out of the X-Box 360 controller port, wearing lingerie, and drag him to the bathroom, since he's going to be at our friend's house the whole time (hence why I can't get nekkid in front of the tv), playing Halo 3 with a bunch of guys =o=, and then I'll get my satisfaction X3! And if he resists, I'm handcuffing him :3!
And on a random note, I dunno why my internet hasn't been turned off yet. Guess I shouldn't jinx it. I should thank my lucky stars xD

You know, stuff like that has never bothered me... mostly because I wanna do what they're doing too. xD I like football! The players are sexy It's a good game. I'll give them their space and whatever, but I do enjoy quite a variety of activities that I suppose are considered masculine.
So... I guess that's no help there.

@Sonic: No, it's not that. I never got into Halo, but I play video games and stuff with my boyfriend all the time. I just don't really like Halo xD I never really have >>; I mean, I watch Football (go 49ers!), and I used to play football xO Video games aren't masculine... Well, aren't -that- masculine. I've been playing them since I was in kindergarten xD! But my point is, is that I never got into Halo, so I am a Halo Widow T^T I blame my dad for banning me from the X-Box when the first Halo came out, claiming that, like all other video games I play, I'd get too good at it and then pwn everyone else at it xD
@Waffles: D: *clings* T^T Maybe you should use my plan? ;D lmfao XDD So I found out my boyfriend Matt is trying to go over to Jon's house tomorrow instead of Friday xD Or maybe even tonight @-@;
@Berries: No, it's not what video games are doing to our boys.. It's what games like Halo are doing to our boys xD And World of Warcraft... x_x; I play video games with my boyfriend all the time... Mostly fighting games like KoF and DoA and what not x3 And occasionally Tetris and Mario ('cuz I own an original Nintendo that works X3!). But its games like Halo and WoW and Gears of War (which isn't a bad game, its actually alot better than Halo in my opinion) that they practically sell their souls to to play them that annoy me @-@; 'Cuz they'll only talk about it for like 3 months =o= And eventually you're gonna get annoyed and wanna club them D<
@Soda: xD I kept bitching to my nerdy guy friends that I was gonna be a Halo Widow for the next 3 months and I was never gonna see my boyfriend again, and I said I would have sexual withdrawals xDD The only sympathy they could give me was:
A) One friend said "Well at least you get laid! I'm ********' horny all the time!"
B) Another guy friend said "Well if you ever need a house call... *wink*" (Me: *shudder*)
C) And then lastly, someone else said: "Oh my god your nipples are hard!"

So I didn't get much help... except I laughed at Friend A 'cuz then I started talking about how amazing the sex was >>; And he got all annoyed XD
But that's another story >>; <<; >>; <<;
Aaaaaaanyways, I'm coping better with the whole Halo Widow thing =o= 'Cuz at least I know I'm not the only one x3! I know my mom is, and now people from the PPS are :3!
So I know I'm not alone in the battle to get our men back >w<

And on a random note, my dad got his pre-ordered thanks to my mom and hasn't left the couch seat since xD! But mom is coping better 'cuz she just got a pink Nintendo DS Lite XDDDD So she's playing Brain Age 2 >>;
I did that game.. I feel old crying
I was originally age 60, then when I tested my age again I went to age 73 =o=

Ahaha. XD some of my best friends were freaking out about Halo. They already beat it, apparently.
I'm actually supposed to head over there tomorrow to play with them - I really like Halo! - but they spoiled the end for me and I need to buy a homecoming outfit, so I declined. xD
I guess I'm not really a 'Halo Widow', since I can see the idiots in school when they don't have it around/am not married to them, but alot of my online friends I haven't seen since its release.
Either they're not on or their away message is like 'HALO3, KTXBAI'.

I like Halo, but never got into it that much, I do like using the Swords in the game though.
I like face to face fighting games, like Soul Calibur. The third one is fun because you can customize your own character.

My dad's been playing since he got it @-@; I think there's literally a groove in the couch now =o=
I never got into Halo 'cuz my dad was like "You're just gonna master it in 10 minutes and beat me at it like every other game. You can't play it!" So I was banned from the X-Box @-@;
And I just arranged for my boyfriend to do a co-op story mode game with my dad 'cuz apparantly the guys he was gonna play Halo 3 with, well, his friend's mom sold his X-Box 360 to pay rent =o= So they're gonna play with mah dad :3
Which might be awkward o-O I can see it now..

@Robin: I heard in the new Halo you can use the Covenant Elite Staves x3 I like the storyline of Halo, but I never got into it. I <3 Soul Calibur 3 X3 I can't wait for 4 to come out. It's gonna be massive xO Soul Edge takes over Tira and she gets REALLY covered up, unlike her ripped up outfit in 3 xD
And Tira's eyes are all screwed up 'cuz of Soul Edge possessing her XD They're like black and red o-o; Its scareh D:
My custom chara was a ninja xO She pwned all 'cuz I personally think ninjas are the most broken character class >3

  rofl That sounds so cute <3 I don't know if I would do that... If I had a dude, playing Halo, or any game, really, At a friends house I'd embarrass him :3 HE SHOULD BE WELL AWARE I'M NOT AFRAID TO DO SO before we get into anything Like sit behind him, and mess with him, yo That werid stuff.
