Ok, so I've had a psp for a few years now, and up until recently, it has just been a paper weight to me. WIth rapid bills, rent and what not to constantly pay, I have never had the chance to really purchase any games for the small system.
Then over the past weekend, I went through and installed a CWF on the system... A custom firmware.
This consisted of updateing the current FW to 2.71, then downgrading it to 1.50.
After that the new firmware was install, knows as 3.52 M33. Then, I brought her up to 3.52 M33-4
SO what does all this mean? Well, I can now play any psp game at all. Including 'backup copys'.... Of course, to aviod pirating, I own a copy of the game as well Also, emulators can be loaded to play 'backups' of Ps1, N64, Snes, blah blah blah, games. AS well as transfering movies to watch them as well.
Loaded up with a 4gig memory stick, I've been having quite abit of fun with the system... It really hasn't left my side since Friday night

Well, first ya need to have the customer firmware kickin. After that its just a matter of downloading a compatable emulator, hookin the psp to a pc via usb, and uploading the emu. to a folder.
