ok i was wondering do you think that sesshomaru died before Kagome's time or something else? I've acually gotten into conversation with people about this and was wondering what you people think happen to Lord Sesshomaru.

well me i kinda hope and think that he and other demons are still around just hidden from sight by looks. you know hid the markings or anything that shows that they are demons.

I personally can't picture Sesshomaru dying. His character is so strong, he doesn't give up in the toughest situations and keeps going through life even in the worst possible way. I believe he'd adapt, change, with the passing years. Maybe he'd even have a little in site to the future from Kagome...or at least an idea from her looks, speech, etc. I think Sesshy would be able to hide his markings as well by using his yokai to conceal them. Anyway, I just think Sesshomaru will continue living, traveling and adapting with time, and maybe still have his royal personage in the end.

That's a tough question. I can't imagine anything successfully killing him, and from what we've heard of his father 500 years probably wouldn't be enough for old age to set in, so it makes sense that he'd still be alive, but I think he'd be miserable, unless he had some major self revolution to change his priorities and his goals. He'd either have to live among humans, or actively avoid them, and I think with his current attitude he wouldn't find either situation acceptable. (highlight for The Woman Who Loved Sesshoumaru I and II spoilers: we've seen him take on several rifles at once, so if something man made were to kill him off it would have to be VERY modern and therefore there would still be many humans alive who know about it.) As for a demon killing him, all the things we've seen him fight without so much as a pained grunt, I can't imagine how powerful a demon would have to be to kill him off. Unless they did something really sneaky and trapped him or something, because with the passing of his father and Ryuukotsei, I don't think there were any demons as powerful as that left--and I realize it was never asked, but I don't think when the story takes place, Sesshoumaru was anywhere near as powerful as his father was. I think he has the potential, but he's a few milenia too early to make that claim. Besides, why would he be seeking his father's power, if he was already his equal? But now I'm going off on a tangent so I'm gonna stop.

In the feudal era, he was still considered little more than about 19 in human years, so add 600 more years onto his 900 yrs he was then and you have him only being in his late 20's at most. There is no way that in the 21st century, Sesshomaru or InuYasha would be gone by now... Demons will live to a couple thousand human years, so he will outlive all of us!!!!

yeah thats what i was thinking he probally is living among the humans or hiding. That make a lot more sense than what i've heard from other people like he was dead he would never live among humans ( it just what i've heard on other sesshomaru fan sites... so yeah) biggrin

I like to see it like that possibly or that they turned into stone waiting for someone to awaken them.

Please.... let's not try and reincarnate our beloved Sesshomaru.. You are going to make us cry if you go on talking like he would be dead after only 1500 yrs of existence. Remember- his father was a few thousand years old when he was killed. Sesshomaru is still a young demon!

For one, "The woman who loved Sesshoumaru" is a filler episode and therefore is not canon. Not that I doubt Sesshoumaru's strength. I'm sure a platoon of soldiers armed with crappy rifles would be a cinch for him. Hmm... I think a nuclear bomb would do the trick. Thinking about the kind of weapon that could kill Sesshoumaru makes me a terrible fan. XD It is possible that Sesshoumaru could have survived through 500 years. If he were still alive in Kagome's time I don't think he'd give a crap what other people think of his physical appearance. That's the kind of person Sesshoumaru initially is. There is, however, potential that he could have changed. Though 100 years isn't much for a youkai, it still give them plenty of time to change and develop into a new personality. Even so, I still don't think Sesshoumaru would bother to hide his identity. Given the current scenario, it's just that Sesshoumaru is still a very proud man (?).

He probably lives in Animeland...where all the inhabitants tremble under the rule of the sexyist anime and manga character alive(and armless). Even with one arm, he's more poweful than InuYasha.

I think that Sesshomaru haven't died. Demons can live very long, so I think that he still would be living in Kagome's times.
