A Kidnapper on the Loose! [Introduction/Story Updates/Rules]

Whats this? The first ever ACC Metaplot/Store wide RP event? I think so! Starting now we will be holding a big big event for all the owners (And people intersted in becoming owners) to join in on to get some activity going in this place and start some all out fun!

The Plot:

Oh no, children are disappearing left and right! Babies! Toddlers! Even children! Someone is stealing all the ACC Youth! Who could it be? Why are they doing it? Well.. That's up to you all to find out, of course!

Rules

1. This event is not only for people who have ACC children. Due to the news broadcast, Gaians everywhere can know of whats going on and may or may not choose to aid the guardians in attempting to rescue their children. However, if you do not have a child here, you must still follow the standard shop rules.

2. Although it is a possibility to get a child from this event, do not assume that just because you are participating that you are automatically entitled to getting one. Children have to be earned. And we still have not decided if a child is granted if there will be a fee. Just keep this in mind.

3. No advancing beyond the group. You may not post in the castle before permission has been granted for people to enter. You may not post in the master lab or master bedroom. You may not have your character know who the kidnapper is until it has been revealed. Basically just stay at the same pace as the main shop NPCs/characters. If Tenshi and Psyren aren't in the castle, then you're not in the castle.

4. All basic shop rules apply.

5. Keep things PG13. We don't want to go over the Gaia TOS.

6. During combat we will have a D-roll system. That meaning that if you're character comes into combat with an NPC (like say... Rein enters battle with a zombie with a crow bar?) both the character and the NPC must take turns rolling 1 D-6. 1-3 the blow misses, 4-5 the blow connects and does 3 damage, 6 the blow connects and does 5 damage. Each NPC will have 20 health points. Each character will have 30. We will keep track of your overall health in this thread. If your health goes down to zero, your character will pass out and will have to stay out of Roleplay for a set amount of time. Characters can regain health by resting, receiving medical treatment (No magic cure-alls), or eating.

From time to time, we will make random posts saying there is a rest stop, or that there is food, or medical kits and how much each are worth. It will be up to you to distribute them in character. More information on the combat system will be updated as required.

-Event 001: The Abductions Begin-

Tenshi was laying in the middle of her bed on her stomach, watching TV before she retired for the night. She had just changed into one of Gabriel's old button up shirts and had the TV 'clicker' in hand. Her chin rested on the palm of her hand as she gnawed on one of her nails, eyes glazed over as the lights of the television screen reflected against her black pupils.

"Are Gino and Sasha having problems in paradise! Find out later tonight on the Celebrity Hot Watch!" screamed an entertainment channel, Tenshi groaned and hit the channel down button. The words 'have itching problems?' flashed a crossed the screen.
"ITCH ON. APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE ITCH. ITCH ON. APPLY DIRECTLY TO TH-" click.
"Save a horse, ride a cowbo-" click.
"Jesus the devil is trying to get me do-" click.
"And so then I said to him, 'Brad, Jenny is cheating on you with Willia-" click click click.

"Tonight on Gaia News!" Tenshi set down the remote as she switched to channel five. She wasn't one to keep up with current events, but it seemed nothing better was on at the moment so she was willing to settle. Cindy Donovan or whatever her name was came up on the screen, and adjusted her glasses with mock intelligence.

"So it's needless to say that Rufus the cat will no longer attempt to climb trees when he sees a fat bird. Next on our list of events.. Children are disappearing all over Gaia. We've received news that over six children have gone missing over the past three days, and the numbers keep on rising. No leads so far as to who could be doing this. All we know is it is mostly involved with children who have been adopted."

Tenshi rose an eyebrow and sat up on her bed, hugging one leg to her chest. This did not sound good, especially with all of her kids, and all her friends kids for that matter being adopted.
"We go to the scene now where Nancy Candy is speaking with one of the kidnapped children's guardian. Nancy?" Tenshi's eyes grew wide as she saw a familiar face on the screen.
"Yes Cindy. I stand here now with a mister Takahashi Sumono, father of two of the missing children."

There on the screen stood a blubbering thin Asian man, the rims of his glasses spotted with tears that had been pouring down his cheeks. Nancy looked at him with an bead of sweat running down her forehead, before she held out a box of tissues. Takahashi took one of the tissues and blew his nose, and then took another to wipe his eyes with.
"T.. Thank you miss."
"No problem. Now, Mister Sumono. Please tell us what happened."
"Well.. I had just received the two girls from an adoption center in the east district, and I had tucked them in bed for the night. After I had taken my medication and retired myself for the night I heard a loud crash and then one of the girls crying. Before I could make it to their room the crying had stopped and the girls where gone. And when I looked out the window, I found this laying on the fire escape." He then held up a human rib, and then burst out sobbing again.
"They're going to ki-kill my g-girls! And I- I've only had them for three *sniff* days! WAAAAAAAAAH!" Tenshi hit the mute button as Takashi erupted in a crying fit from his sorrows.

"This isn't good. What if other children from the center where kidnapped?" Tenshi thought to herself, but before she could continue her train of though, a loud crash was heard from the hallway.
"Aaaaah!" Came a female shriek, Tenshi leapt from her bed and ran out the doorway.
"Sakura!" She called out as she rounded the corner to the girls room.

Tenshi threw open the door and quickly scanned the room with panic stricken eyes. Sakura was nowhere to be seen. Vincent quickly showed up in the doorway, shock in his eyes. Tenshi threw her gaze back to her son.
"Vincent! Call the police! Tell them another child has been kidnapped. And then call Indu and tell her to keep a close eye on the kids!"
"Right!" Vincent ran back out of the room towards the phone.

Tenshi walked over to the window and saw the broken shards of glass laying on the floor. She looked out the window. There was no sign of Sakura or her captor. She then glanced back down at the floor as a glimmer caught her eye.
"Sakura's headband.." she said as she bent over and picked up the blue bandana. She gasped as she spotted something underneath… It was small. and white.. Like bone.

Tenshi picked up the astringed object and stood up, examining it with thinned eyes.
"This is a human clavicle..?" she then remembered Takahashi finding a rib. Tenshi leaned out the window and looked around at the street. Whoever did this managed to break into a second story window, with no tree or terrace to climb, and then take a ninja in training? Whoever this was knew what they where doing.. And probably wasn't human.

"Tenshi. Something is wrong?" came Sesshomaru's voice from the doorway. He had his sword in hand, and looked as if he had just came out of bed. Tenshi looked back to him and nodded.
"Put your clothes on. We're going to the center."
"Right away."
