"C'mon, it might be fun!" Sawa chirped and then smirked, eyeing Siyo sideways. The two boys were seated between the pridelands, very close to the graveyard. "Besides I tol' yeh we'd be leaving soon... le's explore it!"
Sawa never thought about consequences or any of that boring stuff, and threw away everything he ever heard about the graveyard pride to the back of his mind. Siyo on the other hand stored every last detail that spelled out his doom if he was to step foot in that land. "I dunno Sawa... I've 'eard it be might dangerous in thurr... hyenas are vicious an' deadly, don't yeh know that?" He glanced to Sawa and then frowned when he saw the face the other had on.
"No. Nonono!" He cried out, leaping to his feet. "Yeh can't 'ave already made yer mind up.. I don't wanna go in thurr!"

The lioness stalked her way towards the pridelands. She wasn't planning there but she wanted to scan a bit of it to see exactly where she would be tied to. Apparently, her parents were cooking something up that would ultimately put them closer to those strange, seemingly perfect lands. Her eyes squinted against the unknown colors. She wasn't used to green and gold and red. She was used to the dismal monotone and the occasional vision of her gloriously purple father.
White tipped paws kicked up dust as she walked through bone chips that her hardened pads had gotten used to stepping on. Froth snorted as she walked a bit further away from her home. "Why does everything have to be so bright around here?"

"Fine, fine... stick 'ere ya blunder'ead." He smirked and rose, slipping toward the graveyard because he had spotted the unmistakable form of a female. That was reason enough to go into an unknown land. His tail swished as his eyes roamed freely over her body, hearing the tail end of her words. "Brigh' yeh say? S'cus o'the sun an' wa'er, yeah?" He answered, grinning at her. Siyo's eyes popped and his mouth hung open. Sawa never left him behind! Well actually... if a pretty female was in question... ah! Bingo. On que... the 'pretty' female. Siyo was used to Kusini colors, not graveyard colors.
He rose and slipped after his pal, though looking less enthused.

The Graveyard Princess squinted at the horizon. She wasn't used to bright colors that weren't purple which had even become faded in the dim light of the Graveyard and because part of the monotone. "The sun is bright?" She snorted at his remark. The sun had never been bright where Froth lived. Maybe he was just messing with her or something. God she hated jokers.
"Well, it's never been bright before so why should it be now? It has absolutely no reason to be." Never having met anyone outside the pride before, Froth wasn't too cultured in how to treat others beyond simple greetings. "And it shouldn't be bright and I don't want it to be." Hard to star a conversation unless she was able to rant.
"Who are you anyway? Tell me or I'll go get my father to properly run you away."

Oh she was a feisty little one! Well... not so little. But she was still amazingly cute in Sawa's deranged mind. He must have been demented to think anything with that kind of 'bark' (and whom probably had a vicious bite) was adorable. She sounded like royalty. Those were the best kind to heckle! "Aye, yer father eh? Would no wan' tha." He just chuckled and turned to see that Siyo was hovering right behind him. He nudged Siyo as if he appreciated the joke and said as much.
"I be Sawa and it be a pleasure ta meet yeh...?" He trailed off in question, waiting for her name. He grunted as he was nudged but stayed mostly behind Sawa; he could deal with the mean sounding girl. She sounded demanding and selfish, Siyo wanted no part of that! Reminded him of his mother. And when he made the connection of his mother he say there looking rather spooked and like curdled milk was sitting in his stomach.
