 (For Colche primarily to reply. :3 ) Laio was tired. She'd been hunting, and incredibly proud of herself she'd managed to bring down a gazelle. By herself! She was used to doing the looking out for herself, but she'd had a thought. Normally she would leave what she could not eat for the scavengers..... but she was supposed to be part of a group now. Whether she felt it or not, she knew others looked up to her, and so with a satisfied grin she'd taken on herself the task of dragging the half-eaten carcass back towards the squat form of the baobab tree in the distance.
She knew the Pridelands were close, and so her dark blue eyes darted warily as she tugged at it, in case a lion would come for her kill; her full belly was telling her she wanted to be out of the afternoon sunshine, and sleeping it off somewhere, but no! She wanted to live up to what others might think of her, this time. No random wanderer anymore, this was her home.
She panted slightly around her mouthful of neck skin as she neared the tree. Nearly there.... and hopefully someone else would be around to make the trip worthwhile.

And indeed there was someone else about. Colche primarily lived in the little copse of trees just inside the coalition lands but she had decided she had to take a walk, a breather away from her little family. It wasn't so much that she didn't adore Korou, or that she couldn't cope with her oldest sons coming in and out all the time, infact it was a bonus seeing them as often as she did. It was more she needed a little alone time occassionally. She knew this was primarily because of her condition. It was natural for her to long to be alone while her time to give birth grew nearer. She and Korou were going to be parents and her stomach had slowly become bloated over the last couple of weeks. Her abdomen was very distended now and she knew she must be having about the same amount of cubs she had with her fling all that time ago. At this stage in her pregnancy she was about as large as she was the last time. A small smile creapt on her face, she was very glad she was an experienced mother now and that she had Korou and her boys by her side this time. It had been hard work raisding her three boys and she didn't fancy doing it again.
A soift sigh escaped her lips as gentle blue eyes opened to gaze out accross the lands she had lived upon for so long only to spot an unfamiliar figure. It had been a very long time since she had seen laio but her maw turned in a smile as she spotted the leader of the coalition lands.
"Laio my friend it has been a long time." She whispers her voice still a gentle lilt "How are things my friend? she puurrs her smile never wavering.

Laio's ears snapped back, and she dropped the gazelle to turn swiftly, paws half dancing, half scrabbling in the dust before she managed to identify the voice. A wide grin spread across her muzzle, and she loped over the short distance to trot right around her friend.
"Colche! You're doin' well! I'm glad, yanno! Eeeeeh, you look all 'healthy' agin," she grinned happily, the hyperactivness of her cubhood breaking through for a moment.
"How are your little boys?"

Colche gave a sweet chuckle her blue eyes dancing. "Yes Korou and I, well he's my mate now, we've been busy." She smiled in a shy sort of manner, her gentle blue gaze looking up at ther rouge cheetahress. "Little? Oh they are far from little any more, I'm afraid they are all grown up and causing more havoc than they did as cubs." She grinned she loved her boys very much.
Stretching slightly she gave a little happy sigh clambering to her foot paws to head butt the other female gently in greeting. "It is good to see you again my friend, time it seems has been good to us both hmm? you look just as you always did. You will more than likely see one of the boys fairly soon. Korou usually asks one of the boys to come out and find me if I am gone too long, he's such a worry wart" She giggles playfully, "Males need to understand that we need to have a little privecy occasionally when in the state they put us in." She puurrs jovily again. "I'm afraid your lands will soon be over run by a few more little rebles, I'm guessing I'm having at least three, and boy am I glad I don't have to do it alone again. Raising those three terrors was hard work." She laughs again, she was truely only joking about her three grown sons, they had been the most wonderful fun while they were growing up and now they were grown they helped her and korou as much as they could. They were good boys really.

Laio laughed infectiously. "MY lands? Y'mean -our- lands, silly. These lands are meant to be overrun by cheetahs, eh? And I can't wait to see 'em. But oh!" She whirled on her black-dipped pawtips, going back to claim her dropped gazelle carcass before any hungry birds might sight it.
"I have food if ya want! Boy am I glad I found you here, actually, I was hopin' to find someone to give this to. And if'n you've got little ones coming again, it's all good, huh?" She laughed again carelessly, eyes bright, realising she'd missed the social interaction, even if she was selfsufficient enough.

Colche nodded softly. "Yes it is wonderful. Korou and I are very happy." She smiles softly, it had been very hard ont he little cheethress when she had given birth to her three boys but now she had korou to help her. "I'm not very hungry sorry, though as I said Afiya will probably be along soon he never says no to a meal. I'm afraid being pregnant doesn't really make you hungry, the cubs sort of sit on your stomach and bladder and make you woozy, perhaps you should have some cubs laio and find out." She grinned cheekily at the older female her soft blue eyes dancing happily. She could imagine the other female with cubs she was so motherly to everyone. It even crossed ehr mind to try and set her up with one of her sons though she quickly dismissed this, laio would undoubtedly not appreciuate being set up by anyone especially to a younger male.
Shaking her head she gave a little chirrup and a chuckle. "it really is wonderful to see you again."
At the sound of the chirrup a large male cheetah came wandering through the grass. Afiya had wandered out of the den in search of his mother. He usually took his time doing this knowing she wished to be alone, or so she had told him, but he still needed to make sure she was alright. Afiya towered over his small mother by a head and shoulders, even as an adolecent it was obvious he was going to be a very large cheetah, he was rather more bulky than your average cheetah, he was certainly living up to his name. Chirruping back he padded up to the baobob tree and nuzzled his mother affectionately. "Thoguht I'd find you here" He smiled looking to the other female with a nod "Hey don't recognise you." He tilts his head his golden eyes shimering, he was always blunt to those he didn't know, of course he didn't know that Laio had been at his birth, he couldn't remember the rouge female.

Laio looked startled. "Reeeeeh...... I dunno, it looks painful...." She took a thoughtful mouthful, and then suddenly blinked, swallowing it neatly. Almost doing a double-take, she darted back a few steps, sizing up the young male with large eyes.
"A...Afiya? You got huuuuuge!" The older female with her odd accent was just as blunt in her pronouncements.

Afiya looked at Laio with a brow raised. "well I couldn't stay a cub forever now could I?" he blinked again, his tail flickering back and forth as he watched the older female. "uhm mother who is this?" he shrugged his heavily mucled shoulders tilting his head bemusedly.
Colche chuckles softly. "Afiya this is laio, she watched you be born" She smiles and lifts a paw up to hook behind his head pulling him to her and grooming his face. "I swear you boys have no personal hygene what so ever!"
Afiya groans. "Mother, mum, mum! Mother! arg!" the large male sits with a sigh letting Colche groom his head and behind his ears, his face the picture of a disgruntled child. "You're embarressing me infront of the ladies again!" he moans his tail flicking about unhappily.
"Oh hush Laio watched you be born what could be more embaressing than that?"

Laio blinked a few more times, and then laughed out loud again. "You listen to your ma, huh Afiya? And..... I don't really remember that much about it t'be honest." She laid her ears back slightly embarrassed, looking aside with a quiet grin. "I didn't know what to do when I found out Colche was havin' cubs. And now more?"
She tried to straighten up a little, and winked mischeivously. "But there you go Colche, you got free help around the den this time, eh?"

Colche smiles. "Yes, when the triplets arn't off galavanting in to the world." She smiles softly, she far from prevented her oldest sons from roaming but she liked to see them when she could. She finally releases Afiyas head and looks at his ruffled face. you're much cleaner now." She puurrs softly looking down at her stomach as Laio mentions her pregnancy. "Its wonderful just to be able to bring life in to the world."
Afiya rolls his eyes and straightens out his fur looking to Laio "well she always says to live up to my name it's hard not to." he grins sheepishly tightening the mucles in his shoulders once again before relaxing. You gotta look after your mum though." he coughs and smiles weakly at his mother his golden eyes smiling. He would definately be hanging around and helping with his younger siblings. He wouldn't abandon his mum when she needed him.

Laio tensed a little, and then laughed slightly uncomfortably, before trotting back to nudge her nose in the bloody gazelle carcass.
"That's true enough. Look after her, ya hear? And in the mean time, I brought gazelle. If'n you want some, that's great, go ahead...."
Her white-striped tail flicked slightly nervously behind her. She knew her careless mother had chased her and her brother out to fend for themselves when they barely could. She'd never heard of neither of them again.

Afiya grinned and padded over to the other female with a quick nod. " I aint never said no to food before and it aint gunna start now!" He chuckles and settles down by the gazelle to eat his fill. After swallowing a mouth full though he lifts his head "we should take this back to the den, Korou will be looking for some scoff later. I can carry it back when I'm done." He smiles at his mother. He found it hard to call korou his father, he certainly wasn't his biological one but he definately had become a member of the family, more so by creating his new siblings.
Colche smiled softly and gave a little nod. "That would be wonderful of you Afiya." She smiles and nudges laio with a little wink "you see he's handy to have around you two should settle down and give me some grand cubs hmm?" she smiled, with raising cubs she had found herself ful of ways to embarress her children. She winked at Laio, she was only playing though the thought did rattle around her mind. Afiya would be perfect for laio, he was bull headed and strong..she had to stop this train of thought, her pregnancy always made her a little addle brained and thinking like thatw as just one of those things.

Laio startled back skittishly at the comment before darting over to rap Colche's shoulder with a soft black paw. "Hey hey, Colche! I know I'm a bit younger'n you, but no need to embarrass your poor son with such talk." She laughed, before twirling to look back at Afiya.
"Y'think you could carry it farther than me then, hmm Afiya? I dragged it soooooo far already," And she rolled her eyes in exaggeration at her feat, before dropping to sit in the shade, panting slightly. "And on a full stomach as well, ya know!"

Afiya rolled his eyes, he was so used to his mother being blatent he simply laughed it off and gave a nod to laio. "Yeah I reacon I can get it back to the copse. Gettin' pretty strong as I get older, tis nice to be able to look after my family and stuff." He cleared his throat thenlooking slightly embarressed. It was true that he was dedicated to his family even his extended family in Korou and his new half siblings that would be born pretty soon. He loved his mother and wouldn't abandon her if she needed him despite his growing wonderlust, the dumabara lands and where ever his mother was would always be home.
Colche smiled sweetly watching her eldest son. "You should really come andio, I'm staying in the same place where the trins were born, Korou and I and Afiya and Moyo still roams about the lands. Not much has changed really since you last saw us, except for the little growth spurt the trins seem to insist upon having." She chuckles, truthfully she wished for a female figure about. Though she was surrounded by males whom wished to protect her she knew she could do with a femenine friend to help her through these times. Pregnancy was something that males just didn't understand really.

Laio looked around, blinking a few times, tail still flicking through the dust. "You're not around the tree then? Ah, I guess it makes a good meeting place better'n a place to bring up littluns." She yawned, pink tongue curling in the heat, and slowly looking a little less nervous. "And you'll have to let me meet this Korou of yours if I haven't already, yanno."
She looked sideways at Afiya by the gazelle again, still amazed by how much bigger he was. Wow, had it really been that long....
