Adding poetry to make your character more "archaic" or "romantic" or even just a bit cooler is actually extremely easy! usually for the more dark and depressive of characters, poetry Rp'ing is unique and fun.
step one. Rhyme rhyme rhyme! making your sentences rhyme is one of the most basic ways to add some motion and flow to your posts! and thinking of good rhymes can be fun too! (IF YOU CANT FIND SOMETHING THAT FITS TRY REVISING THE SENTENCE!)
step two. flow! making your sentences flow is crucial! just randomly rhyming stuff will never work EXAMPLE: Death? death is winters touch, cold and hard, and black, it chill.. unbearable unthinkable.. too much. Dying.. an adventure filled with glory.. a test of faith and blood...a never ending story..
step three. finalization!!! if your done typing your now immaculate masterpiece, go over your entry.. check it a couple of times! say the entire thing out loud to make sure it flows. correct any errors, and maybe add something!
