You may have noticed that you never see me around here much anymore? For example, I hadn't checked on the guild in at least a month and realized just today that one of the mods left. ._. The truth is, I've really grown away from Naruto in general over the past two years and I feel like I can't stay captain of this guild anymore. sweatdrop
So here's what I'm proposing! Someone who cares more about this guild will take over for me!
WAIT, WAIT, NO. The person taking my place is a former mod, Rose Koneko. I'm not deleting this just yet though because she might want a new mod. So just in case. |3
But wait, mysterious "Captain" person I vaguely recall! D: How will you choose who becomes the new captain? Even though I'm retiring from the guild, I still want this guild to do well! So I'm going to choose the best candidate based on a brief essay.
Essay? D8 That's right. Essay. >:[
G-g-guidlines prease! o_o
• Brief essay means that your entry should be no more than one thousand (1,000) words.
• I will not appoint someone who types like a maniac. Regardless of how your entry looks (i.e.; it SHOULD NOT contain 1337, grammar errors, or spelling errors), I will go through the guild and find your posts to check consistency. After all, it's kind of important for the captain to be, you know, literate. :<
• Explain why you are the best candidate to become captain. Include strengths, weaknesses, any moderating/captain experience, and (optional) possible improvements you would make to this guild.
• What's really important to me is that you are able to keep a disciplined rule over the place; i.e., reject join requests that do not meet the requirements, delete topics that violate the ToS, and even ban users.
