Ira's eyes looked down for the first time upon the pack lands of his Uncle. His first gaze at the world, for real, that he could remember, the sun rising, his siblings and parents still alseep... and he wondered, How can I care about the sunrise more than them...? None of his fellow siblings seemed to have the issue, or even seemed to notice their mother. Impassive, sometimes forgetting that they even existed, looking only towards their father... and Ira felt very similar, except to all of them. They... annoyed him, for the most part. His mother had scolded him, coldly, for his temper... but even then, he could of sworn that she didn't really care.
Still, he tried his best to ignore them all, and now he gazed at the scenery. They had said it was beautiful, but he had never really noticed it before. The world, it was vast... interesting. Even looking outside made him want to see more of it... perhaps not too much more, but more none-the-less.

A dark coated lump appeared behind her brother from the shaded darkness of the den. He had not noticed her, though she didnt really care if he knew she was there or not. It amazed her how cold he cold be anyways. She sighed before stepping into the light.
"Wonder what its like down there," She said with a half smile. It was more of a statement then a question and her tone was rather rude. "Uncle Trents lands... one day I'm going to be alpha after he watches me grow into a great assassin like him and dad and mom." Her tone was even more rude. Though this was not uncommon. Zuri was very much like her father. She was competitve and never took to losing lightly. Even in small games.

Ira gave a small snort of laughter as he turned and looked at his sister, "You're deluding yourself Zuri. As though Uncle Trent would seriously consider leaving his pack to a little girl like you. Besides, if you'll recall, he's taken me under his wing, not you." He mentioned, though he didn't especially care whether or not his uncle chose him to rule the pack. It wasn't as though he was fond of any of the wolves there.
Besides, his first act would be to deal with Zuri. She had a nasty habit of really, really annoying him. That wasn't especially hard, as it was Ira had a nasty temper. He just liked to see if he could annoy her as much as she annoyed him sometimes.

Zuri gave him a nasty look but that quickly faded away as she laughed, "J-jus-just c-cauusee.." she burst out laughing again in a rather rude manner she was known to have. It took her a few moments to gather her self together. With a sigh she started again. " Just cause uncle Trent picked you to be under his wing doesnt mean anything, " She whipped a tear away from her eye. "When he see's how good I am at battle he will surely pick me over you."
Zuri was for sure her fathers daughter with her attitude. A bit more cocky then her younger father but all the same she was a wolf who aimed to prove her self to the world and make it to the top. Even if it seemed impossible, like her father, she would never let that bother her and continue chasing her goal. Like her father, she was chasing something that would never be optained.

Ira growled and stood up, facing her, "You're a little liar! You think just because you're mom's daughter you'll be as good a fighter as she is? Boy wolves are stronger, everyone knows that! Dad had to beat her to get her as a mate, remember? And Uncle Trent chose me because he knows I'm the stronger one! You'll never beat me Zuri," he moved in close to her, eyes burning with anger, "Never. I'll be stronger than both mom, and dad. I'll be stronger than Trent too!"
The idea of ruling the pack was of no real consequence... but he knew if his selfish sister Zuri got her paws on it and sank her teeth in, she would destroy everything. The view... the land itself, the trees... Zuri would never understand or care about them. The wolves, his family, he didn't care about. But the lands that the pack held as sacred would never last. Not with her in charge. "I'll kill you before I let someone like you have this pack!"

Zuri's fur stood up around her neck and her fangs were gleaming as she growled at her brother.
"I'm not that aweful of a wolf!" She growled at him, "I bet if uncle Trent let you in charge the whole pack land would burn!" She was angered. Her mother had warned her never to be to angry with her older brother that his temper was not his fault, but she didnt care. "I'm tired of moms excuses for you! You'll never beat me!" Her voice was stern but also there was a hint of fear. If her mother knew she had just yelled at Ira she would be so angry with her. She sighed and backed down some realizing she had just over reacted.
"Lets just make a promise that we wont lose to any other wolf for the alpha post Ira. From this point forward your my only rival. . . Well you and Malice." Her tone this time was not as sassy as it normally was. A warmth lingered in her words. "May the best FEMALE win... that being me," She added at the end with a teasing smirk. She was truly sorry for getting upset at her brother. Her mother had never explained to her why she was never to get angry at him but she knew it was a good reason.
((lol xD" yeah sibling love))

((..such little sweethearts))
Ira sat back down and growled a little, "Fine. It with either be you, me, or Malice. Any other wolf who tries, we'll take down." He nodded, seeming a bit calmer, but he was still fumming a little bit, "I don't care who they are... we'll be in charge."
It was true that his mother constantly warned Zuri and Malice about Ira's temper. It wasn't really his fault, she knew, that he hated as deeply as he did. He just didn't know anything else, and unlike Psyche, he never had. Of course, he didn't know that. He didn't even know that his mother had said that... and neither did his father.

"Where is Malice anyways?" Zuri asked since they were on the subject. "I have not seen her around for a while." She really had not seen much of her sister Malice that day. It was an odd thing since the three always seemed to be together.
"Ah well," Her mind was to focused on other matters to ponder the where abouts of her sister. Honestly she was not to concurned. Starting up another topic was more her goal to get off the topic of alpha. She still felt it would be her but her mother had more then once lectured not to bring up topics that would piss off her older brother. As prissy as she was Zuri was still very much respectful of her mother and father, most of all, her uncle Trent.
"This is boring.." She finally said in a prissy manner. Not rude just alittle brattish. "Lets go do something Ira."

"Like... what?" Ira said, his voice a tad on the crass side, "I know Zuri!" now sarcastic, "Let's jump out of the tree and fall all the way down with no one to take us there! Then we'll splatter our brains all over the forest floor! It's be great! I bet that there'd even be tears!"
When anger didn't work, sarcasm usually did for improving Ira's mood.

"All right as long as you go first," Zuri laughed, "Or we could hold our breath and the first one to die wins," She chuckled again. Though really she was bored. Mizer didnt want the pups to leave the tree ever, and for that matter, the den either. The furthest Zuri had ever wandered was to the end of the branch. She wanted more.

Ira looked over the side, wandering out as far as he dared, looking thoughtful, "Long way down..." he had never been down out of the tree. He had almost never left the den until that day. And he was getting a touch of cabin feaver.
"I bet we could make it... if we gave it a shot." He could care less what his father or his mother wanted. Their opinions or thoughts on them didn't really matter, as far as he was concerned. However, their mother had never done much more than offer the occasional word of caution. She never really seemed to be that worried about them... or care much for their personal saftey or wellfare, though his father hadn't seemed to especially notice that yet.

Zuri nodded, "Yeah we could do it! There are branches to that we can leap on to get down." She flashed him a smile before leaping to a lower branch. Surprisingly, Zuri did this with ease as if she had done it a hundred times before. Being the child of two great warriors had its advantages for sure.
"Ira!" She called out to her brother, "Lets see you jump. Your right it wasnt hard!" The dark pup called to her brother before leaping to another lower branch and another. This was exstemely easy. Why hadnt their father or mother taken them abroad all this time. That was what was on her mind. What was so scary out in the real world?

Ira grinned. Certainly if his sister could do it, so could he. So he jumped down, and found that it was just as easy as she had claimed it would be! Or rather, he had claimed it would be and she went on to prove, "Heh... this is easy." He said, following after her.
What had his parents been so worried about? This was hardly what he would call a tricky situation.

Zuri was giggling and smiling now with her tongue hanging out the side of her maw. This was for sure easy. What ever their parents had been worried about was nothing. After all they were strong like their parents. Soft soil below welcomed Zuri with a graceful landing. This was the first time that Zuri had ever been on solid ground. Dirt was something new to her and she did not really like it.
"Eee!" She cried out seeing her beautiful blue paws were now soiled with the dirt below, "What is this stuff? Is it dangerous?" She cried out again clawing her way back up a branch to safty.

Ira thuddeed down in the spot where his sister had just been and glared at the dirt, stepping in it deliberatly, "Well... it isn't attacking us Zuri, and I've watched mom and dad walk on it before, so somehow I doubt that it's something we have to worry about. Now stop being such a scardey-cat and get out of that tree!"
...The outside world suddenly didn't seem all that scary at all. In fact, it all seemed perfectly normal and safe. What on earth had their father been so concerned about?
