The Underground Forest History: Somewhere in the world of Erai there is an ancient volcanoe. The belly of this massive mountain is hollow, with countless lava tubes going in and out of this massive chamber and a few to the outside world. At the bottom of this pit, there lies a forest of trees that thrive on the moon's light. And among these trees live beings that worship the celestial body that gives there home life. The mouth of the volcanoe is closed during the day by a metal door, created by the mountains dwarves. Very rarely do the inhabitants of this hidden forest see outsiders, or vice-versa. But when they do, the result is rarely pretty. You see, the creatures here are very prejudice(sp?) against anything that resembles the sun in any way. Anything yellow or bright red is looked upon with disgust. And when creatures from outside there little utopia find themselves trapped here, little can be done to save them. Story: There is great unrest in the underground kingdom of the moon. Prince Dunstan of the elves has chosen to take a human woman, by the name of Venera, with gold hair as his bride. And to make matters worse, The Moon Fairy, Aliah, has given it her blessings. The palace is in an uproar. The majority of the nobles are against it, while a select few with little power are not. The population itself is also undecided on the matter. But it is no secret that it this threatens to tear the kingdom apart.

Races
Elves: Generally the leaders of the Underground Forest. Tend to see themselves as higher than the other races. typical appearence: tall; black, dark brown, or green hair; dark eyes
Fairies: These creatures are a great deal like humans. The main difference being that they have wings and are the only creatures of the forest that have some limited magic. typical appearence: a bit smaller than elves; translusent wings; black, brown, green, blue, white, or grey hair (a select few have violet); gemstone eyes
Dwarves: The dwarves live mostly in the lava tubes higher up in the cavern, though a few have shops in the main city. They built the device that closes the volcanoes mouth during the day, and know how to operate it. typical appearence: the males are short and stalky with lots of hair, while the females are of the same hight and look like humans; black, brown, or grey hair; black or brown eyes
Pixies: The servants of the forest. Cheerful, little beings that will cause trouble if not given something to do. So they are normally employed as housekeepers. typical appearence: darker skin; only about as big as a human's hand; frail, butterfly-like wings; any color hair that is not a "warm" color; gemstone eyes
Sylphs: Frequent visitors of the forest. Whispy fairies that love to gossip and sing. They live nowhere but with the wind. typical appearence: pale almost translucent skin; normally appear the size of a human; wings of feathers or light; blue, aqua, or violet hair; pale eyes
Sol Born: Any being that is from the outside world and shows it (typically with hair color). Normally humans, but could be other creatures too. Very few of them in the Underground Forest.
If you have another race you would like your character to be, explain why you want it in a PM and I'll consider. And if you have a Sol Born, be sure to put how they arrived in the Underground Forest.

This should be the last one, I think. These are the major NPCs at the moment. More will come later. If you have one that you would like to add, send me a PM about them.
Aliah: The Moon Fairy, or High Priestess of the Moon. An ancient fairy that interecedes for the moon goddess. She has pale violet hair, and white eyes. Aliah believes strongly in peace, and is willing to do almost anything to protect it. She has many attendants.
As for now, that's it. Dunstan and Venera are two characters that I'm offering to whoever wants them (though you have to ask first). If you would like to play as one of these characters, PM me with the usual profile. I'll let you create what they're like. And I won't count it as one of your original characters, so you can still have two others. I'll take them off once they've been taken.

One last note before the RP can start:
Romance, humor, trajedy, and horror along with any other genre are allowed so long as it stays PG-13. Also, where this story goes is entirely up to you. Therefore, how and when it ends is up to you. There are more of you out there than me, and though I have complete control, I'll let majority rule run its course. But if any one of you starts to become power crazy, and try to ruin it for everyone, you will be removed. Do not ask me how, because you do not want to know twisted .
If you have any questions, PM me. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
I'll start the RP soon! Within the next few days at least, if not later today.

Renee fluttered about the never ending palace halls, dusting the picture frames and vases along the walls. Such was the life of a pixie. But she didn't mind. It kept her buisy! Pixies hate being bored, and so does everyone else. In fact, it's almost law that her kind always has something to do.
Renee wasn't sure what everyone was so worried about. It's not like they did anything dangerous when they got bored. No, they just would start talking non-stop or playing pranks. Elves were so stuck-up.
She saw Venera exit her room at the other end of the hall. She watched the girl curiously, especially her hair. "Now what kind of spell could have caused an abnormalty like that?" she pondered aloud. Once the girl was gone, Renee shrugged, and went back to work.

Gethin stood by a shadowy tree, thrusting his sword repeatedly into an invisible foe. After awhile, he stopped to give his arm a rest, and he leaned against the tree. Daylight was upon them, and the gates high above would be closing soon.
He sighed, figuring he might as well head home before then. Fireflies were troublesome guides when it was pitch black this deep in the forest. They were worse than pixies, and he may end up at an old farm house instead of his father's manor.
So he headed home, trying his best not to think, but failing. He just couldn't understand Dunstan's reasoning. How could he even find a Sol Born remotely attractive? Let alone, find any reason to love one, and make them the future queen. Needless to say, Gethin was concerned about his friend. He didn't trust the Sol Born, and no one could change his mind.

User Name: Belalusia Character Name: Luna, but she goes by Lulu Age: 18 Race: Fairie Appearance: Personality: Normally friendly, but at times can be quite sarcastic. She likes to appear tough, but deep down she has a kind heart. She's pretty outgoing and spontaneous. Her weaknesses are that she is pretty selfish and stubborn and can be childish at times. She's not very racist, however she is a little curious about other races, especially the Sol Born, but she won't outwardly admit it. Bio: Her parents were both killed in a war that took place when she was just a new born, so she has no memory of them. She was taken in by a family of elves and they raised her until she was old enough to fend for herself. The family that raised her has a little boy who she is very close to, she considers him to be her little brother, and calls him so. (His profile is next) User Name: Belalusia Character Name: Megumi Age: 11 Race: Elf Appearance: Personality: Hyper and bubbly. Like his older sister, Lulu, he is also quite stubborn. He likes to fight and is always looking to pick a fight with someone, playfully, of course. He is always trying to become stronger because he wants to be better than everyone else his age. Although he is quite rambunctious, he also has a kind heart. Bio: He was born into a family with a mother, a father, and an older sister, Lulu. He doesn't seem to understand that she is a Fairie and thinks of her as an elf just like him. Luna walked around in the forest just outside her village. There was a place where the trees cleared and she could see the Castle. She sighed, "Wouldn't it be nice to live in place like that." She sometimes wished she was an elf princess living in a castle. But she was just an ordinary Fairie. She quickly shook off the thought and continued walking. "Uhg, Megumi!" She yelled, "Where are you? How many times have I told you not to wander off by yourself?" She leaned up against a tree. "That boy worries me sometimes," she thought to herself.

Megumi was running around happily, jumping up and down, while disturbing a few woodland creatures. He stopped as he noticed something. It was an elf with a big sword. His eyes got big with amazement as he watched him swing his sword around. Megumi hid behind a tree, still watching, but making sure not to be seen. He also noticed that the moon was going down, and that he should start heading back. After all, Lulu was probably beginning to worry about him.

Gethin heard someone else in the forest, but didn't particularly care at the moment. He was too absorbed by his own thoughts. He wasn't going to change his path, even though it sounded like whoever it was might be there. He had more important things on his mind.

Luna slumped down on a stump. She was tired and she wanted to go home. But she just couldn't leave without Megumi. 'What if something happened to him?'She thought. Just then she heard something behind her...
"Lulu!" Megumi ran up behind his sister and leaped onto her back. "Did you miss me?" The boy grinned at her. He knew she had been worried about him.
"Ugh, Megumi! I was worried sick about you! Where did you go anyway? Why didn't you tell me where you were going? You know mom was worried about you too!" She let Megumi slide off her back and she turned around and pulled his hair teasingly. "Ya little brat."
Megumi smiled at her and the two walked back to their cottage, hand in hand.

Gethin raised an eyebrow at the brother and sister in the clearing in front of him. They apparently didn't see him, not that it mattered. For a brief moment, he found himself wishing he had a sibling. Or at least someone to spend time with.
The elf shook his head, sighing. He really needed to start thinking more postively. At least, that's what his mother always said.
