I'd like to do a fanart contest to celebrate Halloween this year for the guild members. I need idea's to what to give to prizes and such. The fanart would have to incorperate something in halloween either the g-boys in constumes carving pumpkins stuff like that. Help me out guys!!!
I'd like to get this fired up by October 1st or 5th at the latest!

That's a wonderful idea, halloween themed fanart. We should definitely leave it open as to what the g-boys do/are doing in it up to the artist. Let's make the start date for the 5th (I'll have moved in to my new place with my new roommate by then).
But of course the start could be now. As an alternative to those who want to draw but can't perhaps Halloween fic-lets! Post the general idea that you have for the fic you want to submit so that those who are drawing can add it to their list of ideas or being inspired to do so by it. Perhaps pm the ideas to either of the mods, and we'll post them in the reserved thread(s) below. If the fic-let turns out to be a monster story that runs away with you and you know you won't be able to meet the deadline just let us know and don't stop working on it!! ^_^ We'll try to help you find something shorter and won't leave you out.
I'll offer to beta-read if anyone needs one for this contest. Invite others to join in if they're so inclined ^_^
We should have an end date XD of course before the 31st. So the 27 or 28th? That'll give the judges time to decide on the winners and we'll work on posting the final results by midnight, Oct 31st ^_^ XD (I'm already thinking of a place or two actually, to set up for random judges...)
Now what the winners get (still up in the air on this)
1st place - letter or collectible item?
2nd place - ?
3rd place - 500g ?
more suggestions?

I like where you are going with the fic-let thing Priscel that could be an option as well. For first prize I was thinking a collectible item as well and cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.
Also I like the start and end dates. We'll have to arrage that everyone will be online together like me and you and the choice judges when the deadline comes.
Who were you thinking for judges?

How about anonymous people in another Forum? we'd submit work in a thread, fics without the names of authors and have them vote on them? Art if we could manage without names too?

Since we're a small guild me and you could manage the fan-art. The fics I like your idea. We're gunna have to find some way of keeping track of peoples works so theres no mixing them up.
For prizes how about this.
1st Place=Thank You Letter For a Collectable
2nd-1000g
3rd-500g???
