Hasani had been up watching the gulls play in the soft sand, looking for straded wfsh in tide pools, and tasty crabs and clams hidden in the sand. Those birds made somewhat good eating, not as hood as the giant rock fish that they had had the fortune of dinning on the past two nights.
And those were good eating! They were smooth and went down nicely, and made you full fast with their size.
Though that was a tasty treat and Hasani had enjoyed it, he had far more enjoyed the last hours of their stay here on the beach, for play and turned into something more.
In anycase, it was almost time to leave now. The sun was getting high, and if the pair wanted to reach the jungle edge in time to see it fully before returning for a quick visit to the Swamp lands, they would have to leave now.
Hasani romped back to Kina through the ever shifting sand and nudged her resting body. "Its morning, Shall we go, Love?" He said softly.

The ruby eyed swampy coloured female smiled lightly as Hasani nudged her and a paw shot up over her eyes." Just five more minutes" she giggled peering past her maw at her large mate. She smiled lovingly reaching up to lick his maw in greeting.
It had been a wonderful time by the sea, she and hasani had pent many days roveing the dunes and feasting of the fish. They had even done things she had never thought possible. The fur on her spine stood on end as she remembered these times, a pleasurable smile coming to her lips. Licking her maw she gave a long strtech, her whole body arching as she did so. Over the days they had spent ont he beach her bad leg had become less sore, less achey,s he guessed that it was time to go time to move on, oh she would miss the sea.
Rolling in to a more upright possition she smiled up at hasani a gentle sigh escaping her lips. "we must come back here some day." She whispers. "after we have seen the rest of the world." She stood slowly then her tail swaying softly.
Unfortunately the movement of standing seemed to have triggered something, her ears flattened, and her tongue lapped out dryly over her lips. "I think I must have eaten somehting funny Hasani, I don't feel so good." With a quick look around herself she bolted away from her dark maned mate and skittered behind a group of rocks where she wretched up the contents of the night befores supper. Peering sullenly around the rocks she gave Hasani a weak smile before plodding back out from behind the rocks.
"I guess that fish didn't aggree with my stomach." She smiled walking to hasani for a nuzzle. She didn't so much want sympathy simply a cuddle from her man. "I'm ready to go now, which way?" she puurrs her voice a little strained, how strange, she had eaten fish all week and hadn't had any sickness at all. Well maybe the one she ate was just a bad one. Shrugging off the woozyness in her stomach she decided they needed to leave the sea, perhaps walking would make her feel better, and maybe a drink of nice fresh water, plus the thought of not starting their adventure to the jungle today would only depress her further than her dicky tummy did. It was time to move on.

Hasani was startled at her reaction to standing up, and his eyes followed here worriedly. Was she okay? He heard her, and winced. Maybe that fish he caught had been infected, or maybe it was the shellfish they had snacked on.
"You know, that Rock fish last night did taste a bit gamey," He noted, hoping that this would ease her stumach, though he wasn't sure if it was true or not. "It probably caused it." He didn't add that he wasn't effected, that would just disprove his theory.
He nuzzled her back, more freely now. It wasn't as awkward around her with feelings out in the open, so nuzzlings, licks, and eyelocks were a normal doing now. Hasani's tail swayed lightly as he led his mate away from the beach. "Well, from here we should go away from the rising sun and follow it to where it falls behind the Earth. The jungle isn't to far away. if we follow the sun we should get there in about 3 days," he said, taking account of her paw's condition. "We can stay there a few days, and then the Swamp lands are another 5 days from the jungle, if you still want to head there to, eh, 'show me off' I believe you had put it." He said, teasingly.

Feeling some what releived that Hasani said that the rock fish was a bit gamey sort of put rest to her fears. It must have been something she ate. Nodding her head she sighed softly and followed after her mate her tail drooping slightly. The queezy feeling in her stomach just wasn't going away but at least she didn't want to be sick again. Catching up to Hasani she rubbed her cheek against his shoulder.
"That sounds wonderful Hasani. You said we have to pass through the pridelands to get to the jungles? My mother once told me of those lands,s he said the pride is huge and run by a very wonderful king. Though that was a very long time ago now." Kinamasi looked thoughtful her deep red eyes looking dreamy. She often did this when she tried to imagine what a place was like, especially a place she had never been to. If the jungle and the pridelands between were anything like the sea, she was prepared for a beautiful sight.
