The young elven woman, although considered naive by others, but wasn't to the world. She wore the same thing she did, her two-piece bodysuit the day she met Orianna Sheridan in Eloisa Lynn's shop. Today, Lindsey just wandered aimlessly around the port wearing that; however, the top piece is bare-backed so it bared her entire back. Even though women need support, Lindsey felt she didn't due to her size and all which below a normal C bra size.

Looking around, she saw the ship Orianna Sheridan had mentioned so she made her way over to there, her black boots clapping against the pebbled stoneway of the docks, then moved onto the wooden part then entered the ship, but not without knocking first.

There was a crewman who welcomed her on board. "Ahoy. What ye be comin ere for?" His speech was rough but understandable. He was holding some rope as though he had been coiling it up. "Ifin ye be lookin for the capn she be in er room or yonder." He pointed to a closed door that was at one end of the deck.

Lindsey didn't accept his way of speaaking to her. Her past occupation had trained her to be brutal in most ways to protect something, so it is her eyes the held the savage within her. All she had to do was looked at the man and he would leave her alone permanently. Replying nothing to the male, she made her way past the guy, didn't care if he was admiring her body-shape like the others did when she walked past them or thought bad of her. Once she reached the captain's door, she simply knocked and waited, her bright blue eyes holding some anticipation of yesterday's spark.

The door swung inwards as Orianna opened the door to see who actualy bothered to knock. "Yes?" She asked even as her eyes latched onto Lindsey's. "Ah. Welcome to my ship Ms. Lindsey. How can I help you?" She tried to sound as though it was merely business for she knew there were deckhands around the deck. "Would you like to come in?" The captain took note of how there was a distrust in the other woman's body language. She stepped aside so that the elven woman could enter.

Lindsey simply nodded as she entered then looked around at the adquate space in the room. It fit Orianna in some way, her mind thought to itself as she simply walked ahead, her large tribal sun tattoo was shown on her back, spreading out. For a few moments, all Lindsey did was looked around with just a slight bit of curiousity. What happened next, when she turned around and made eye contact with Orianna Sheridan, the air crackled with heat, but she broke it a bit too soon.

"My brother is tending to his lover at the moment, she fell ill," Lindsey murmured lightly, as if that wasn't really anything to her.

"Nothing serious I hope." Orianna said as she closed the door to the cabin. The room had a desk and a bed. There were a few things adorning the walls including a map. All in all it was neat and well organized for a ship cabin. "Please take a seat." The captain offered a chair as she herself sat down on the end of the bed and picked up a board with paper resting on it. "Thank you for coming to tell me about your brother. Personally I was surprised when he agreed with her...looking so far along."

"I'll stand. I'm used to it," Lindsey said as she nods in respect. Very rarely she sat down unless to eat or to sleep. "She's a mere 3 months shy but shes pregnant with twins," she offered the information, but then took the seat right away as the pain from the crash yesterday had caught up. "My brother and I are close, as we are now not before. I am more than willing to work his share and not be paid for it. "So Orianna, did I pronounce it right? Where are from?" she murmured the question, crossing her legs as she studied Orianna Sheridan from her point of view.

The merchant nodded her head when asked if her name was pronounced correctly. "Oh I have been a lot of places so sometimes it is easy to forget where I am from. Its a smallish island named Ireland. I haven't seen my motherland in years. For the most part I consider myself a daughter of the sea." She smiled brightly as her hand moved over the paper with a pencil. "I have to admit its been some time since I saw an elf off Calypso's Isle. At least 10 years. Your's is a good people though. I am proud to have both of you willing to work for me."

She paused her hand for a moment to play a little with the small ring on a chain around her neck. After a second or two she started again glancing up at Lindsey once and a while. "That is a very lovely tattoo you have. Did it cost you much?"

"Didn't cost nothing. Was a gift of a friend. She did my back too," Lindsey spoke as she nods, watching Orianna Sheridan then got up and turned to show the large unique design of the tribal sun splayed across her back. "So you know my people. How lovely, rarely people are struck with the notion that we hate outsiders, when its the exact opposite with many. So, Orianna.. like most captains I run into, they have wives and lovers. Do you have a husband?"

The woman's face fell a little but the smile didn't leave her lips. "No. Sadly the last person I was with was killed about 3 years ago. His shop was attacked by bandits and he died trying to save it. Thats why I started this business. A memorial to his life work." She then sighed a little putting the pencil down. "Since then I really hadn't thought about relationships. What about you? A lovely lass such as your self couldn't have trouble finding someone to be with right?"

"That is nice way of honoring one's life," Lindsey said, admiring the human merchant more now as her respect for others' lives and their works doesn't waver far from her view. "I'm afraid.. I don't particularly respond well to men as I don't trust them. I.." she said as she took a deep breath and released it slowly enough. "I am a lover of females," she murmured as she looked down at the wooden floor then slowly looks up at Orianna. "Mm?"
PostPosted: Sun Sep 23, 2007 4:40 am

Orianna tilted her head only a fraction of an inch as she listened to the elf confess her preferance. "Well after being at sea all this time I don't find that at all strange. But then again I have had one or two relations with women too. Just something I did when I first sailed. Didn't trust the crewmen as far as I could spit." She rolled her eyes at the memory. She then turned the paper she had been working on around to revile a very detailed image of a lion laying in a field. "Do you think that would make a good tat?"

Lindsey moved closer to Orianna, her bright blue eyes studying the female but turned her attention to the detailed art on the paper. "Have his eyes close, his mouth open, show the fangs in a curve, then it would be perfect," she murmured with a typical elvish accent which is higher than a normal human's accent. "I have a much preference towards the tribal tattoos. As you can see, my brother and I have a high tolerance for pain for having tattoos done. I've done one before on the same friend who did mine. I did the moon for her. Do you have a tattoo, Orianna?" she asked, her voice dropped to a husky tone of voice.

Right as Orianna opened her mouth to answer a blur of fur shot between the women and started winding its way up around Orianna's torso to perch of her shoulder. It was a ferret and from the looks of it he felt left out. "Oh for crying out loud Rummy." Orianna said as she reached up and took the animal down. "Sorry he is really obnoxious when he wants to be." She then looked into Lindsey's eyes again. "I have no tattoos on me as of yet. I could never find anyone I trusted enough to help me with it. Maybe since you have done one before I'll let you try it."

The little wormy rodent squirmed until it got out of Orianna's grip and then raced back to it's shoulder perch where it chittered and made noise at Lindsey. Orianna rubbed her head a little embrassed.

Lindsey only smiles slightly as she nods at Orianna before her eyes had caught a ball of fluff squirming in the captain's hand, then made its own way back to the shoulder. She moved to take the food from her bag that she always had with her, opening it she moved a single dried apple chip out of it and tuck it beween her middle and her index finger then waved it slightly the ferret. Getting no response she just left the bag open on her lap.
