Playing: Ness and Momoka [grace and hiro]
Where: the place where candyland and the coffee swamps meet
Occassion: Ness is there watching the swamp side cafe, wishing to visit there. She resists due to her memories of the only time she ever went there. She meets Momoka. Momoka reminds Ness of a time when she had such an inexplicable interest in the coffee numas.

Ness flew down to the ground. She touched the ground with her left hand, crouching low. Her wings slowed and layed flat to her back. Her ears listened to everything around her. Her tail wrapped around her feet. Her right eye sparkling as the setting sun glinted off of it. She balled her right paw into a fist. "I... have got to get over all that. Really... It even now feels like it happened so long ago. Still, things have never been the same. But.. would I want them the same? Maybe not... what if I had gone on getting myself too close to a danger."

Momoka slowly walked along the shores of the Coffee Swamps, stopping occasionally to take a sip of coffee. Who knew it was so delicious! Her tail would swish around occasionally pleased and her small wings would flutter. It seemed her whole body enjoyed the thrill of caffeine! She then slowed to a stop as she spotted a beautiful light blue Numa, with large white wings and lovely patterns on her fur a short distance a way.
'She is so lovely and she looks so different compared to me!' Momoka thought. 'I've heard about these Numas but have never seen them, I wonder if she's nice..'

Ness had been on guard a bit. The memory of her incident there was still somewhat fresh in her mind. It had only been a few months; even though at times it felt like it was just yesterday, and sometimes it felt like much longer. She turned her head just a bit to see. She had heard a sound of someone coming. Her paw that was balled in a fist on the ground. It could feel the rumble of someone walking about. Only coffees could cause an impact like that...

Ness braced herself and was about to spin around until she noticed a soft pink. Was that a coffee at all? Didn't look like one at first.. until Ness started to wonder what happened to her wings.. oh... it must be a coffee then. She decided not to make any sudden moves. Would this one be like Equis? Would she hate all the candies and randomly punish people for no reason? Not that Ness was devoid of responsibility in that situation. Still, in her mind, it was still something she would avoid repeating.

She drew herself to standing up with her hands on her hips, taking a stance of confidence. She thought she would wait and see. She didn't wanna run. If this girl was like some of the others.. she'd be chased down in a heartbeat. Her wings.. she rememered her wings... she had to remember to fly at a second's reaction if need be.

Momoka waved softly at the Numa that was a bit closer now. She was standing on her hindlegs and seemed somewhat tense, which was odd because even at the distance one could tell this was so. 'Maybe she doesn't like Pink?' Momoka thought to herself.

She decided to take a little chance and do more than just wave mindlessly. "Hello there! Are you enjoying the Coffee?"

Ness felt still a bit caught off guard. The real her that loved everyone and wanted all of life to be a big party; she wanted to embrace this coffee who reminded of her strawberry milk. Still, she had many a lesson over the summer.

She looked up at her trying hard to keep a guard up. "Well... Not yet... I am still deciding if I want to even bother with going in there. I have had bad experiences in there before. Still... it would be nice..."

Momoka sensed some anxiety and didn't want to be intruding. "Oh ok then hehe. Sorry to disturb you. But Coffee is very nice." She said softly.
