 Silverglow settled on the ground. She was normally in the treetops when watching the stars. She decided to try something different this time. Her long flowy tail swished on the grass next to her. Her wings spread out, letting off a soft ruffling sound. She wrapped them around her body, almost like a soft and light blanket. As the moon set itself high in the night sky, she felt a moment of peace and beauty.
The night was her savior, and the stars and moon were her friends. There was no other place she felt more at home or at peace.. then to be out in the evening. Admiring the beauty of the heavens.. what more could one want... Just being able to be there in the moment.. she felt as content as one could be.

Sayuri was grazing over the lands. Flapping her wings occasionally.. She noticed that her tree. Well. Similar to her human's home; a gummy tree. Except it wasn't surrounded in ice and cream.. Her wings slicked back as she flew in...
Ah... was she just attracted to the gummies...? She wasn't sure.. but the taste and the feel were always soft... and chewy.. When she settled closer, her landing was soft... her tail whipping to the side; in a low cracking sound, like a towel whipping across the way when its twirled. Her eyes searched through with a glow assent. Her paws finding the trunk part fo the tree; leaning against it as she glanced up at a gummy, where she could see through to the moon.. the sky looked so usually filled this time around.. She wondered if it was because she did something right, or the sky needed more wishes for numas to say.. and wish upon.
She couldn't say a thing to this night sky. So filled, letting her own dark pelt, twinkle with the stars.. that seemed to take refuge in her fur. Sparkling occasionally here and there. Her hair took flight, as the breeze went up... touching her skin.. It was such a good night... Her realm.. her element...
Her ears twitched. As she heard something in the distance, not a disturbance.. but a rather kind smelling occurance. She wanted nothing more than to find out what this 'new' smell was, she kept a glowing eye out for any movement before looking back to the moon.

Silverglow being the nice girl she was; she was startled easily sometimes. When all the world seemed so quiet and empty, she felt like she was the only numa alive. But, then came the low cracking sound. It made her give a gentle start. Her wings closed around her shoulders and arms all the more. Her hands held the inside of them like southern ladies wear their shawls.
She always had a knack for picking the most... too late of a time to worry about things like personal safety. Here she was out in the middle of the night. She only then thought maybe she should have told someone where she was going. Then again, maybe it was just one of htose coffees who for strange reasons go about outside the swamps. The more she thought about it; she sat up feeling almost petrified. She decided it was best not to say a word or make sudden movements... Lest she should be mauled.
Ness had told her stories of coffees she met. Of course, Ness would tell them to Silverglow in a way to scare her. Silver was of a most certain mind to not go through any of Ness's experiences. What Silver hadn't noticed in all this, her breathing got louder and heavier. The stiffness of how she sat kept making her feathers ruffle. Oh dear...

Hm? Was she being followed? Hardly. No one usually saw her when she started to fly. since of her pelt; so decorated in stars. She felt. Odd. Something had to be up.. just something.. was off. About this night. It was too calm. Her rump slid down; and she promptly landed on her back paws on the solid ground. Looking across the way. It seemed like it was no one..?
Was she ...? Imagening it? Then when she turned back to the tree. She saw a bluish; light furry thing. Then she stepped a little closer, as she stood behind the tail. Examining it. "Hello." She said talking to the tail as if it were a some kind of 'Smidgeon' or a 'pocket'. Surely coffees didnt have such beauty... Well she wouldn't notice the difference since she didnt pay attention to that much detail... or wouldnt say anything about someone... unless they were males. "Hey.. " She said kneeling down and softly petting the soft blue tail with a white shiney strip.

Silverglow almost jumped out of her seat. Her wings spread out fully, and then they folded down on her back after her heart stopped beating all the way up in her throat. She kept a hand on her chest holding onto her heart which still was speeding away. The touch on her tail had sent her into quite the immediate fright.
Silver's head then crooned down and peered around the tree. She would have thought she was looking into the same sky she looked at before; but she caught the sight of the green pupils. Her pupil widened and then went back to normal. "Um... hello there... am I ... in your spot? If I am... I'm so sorry. I can leave..."

"Please. Don't. If it was my spot. Your welcomed any moment." Her words were smooth. She usually didn't talk very much in a first impression. But she guessed that it was only right. Since she startled the poor beauty. Wait- BEAuTY!? Sayuri's eyes went wide. Glowing brilliantly. "Oh. A Million Pardons." She tried to recover her look on the beauty. Hm.. She examined. This one had wings like beatrice.. but blue? How quint. Such a beauty to come across? Was this her lucky day...? But it was night. What happened?
She softly raised her gray paw under the female's chin. "Calm down...Are you lost...?" She asked. Almost as proper. Her gray wings opened wide but the rested against her back. Showing that she was not to harm her. Ever in fact. Her free paw lended against the tree. Looking in to the female's blue eyes; OH DEAR SKY~. Trying to calm the situation that seemed to scare this girl...
Examining further.. this one had stars on her cheeks.. how beautiful... admiring the simple details of the femme. Her black tail curled around her leg quickly. So it wouldn't be loose to do terrible scary noises as it always did. Her hair softly blew with the night breeze...

Silverglow smiled nervously. She nodded when it was ok for her to be there. The forward nature of the numa with her took her by surprise. Noone had talked to her like this so far; so she wasn't sure how to react to it. Though the look in the eyes of the other, it made her feel like she was especially pretty that day.
"I'm not lost. I always fly around at night. I love the night air. I decided to try watching the sky from the ground for a change. This just seemed like a spot where I'd be able to see all the sky so clear." She gave another nervous giggle and smile. "My name is Silverglow. It's nice to meet you." Silver put out a paw to shake the other's.

Hm. So she wasn't lost?
The Sun is white.
Looking from the corner of her eye. She saw the fullest moon. So gentle looking down on her. Ah.. then she turned her face towards the other numa. "Ah, I see... Beautiful name...by the way." She sommently slyly. Her tail flung to the side from being held in place so long. She smelt the other getting nervous. Thankfully her fear had left though... it was better for Sayrui in every way. "Its dangerous to fly or walk at this time... you should know better." Her shoulders became lax as she lended back on her weight now. Slim structure, now to stand to the side. Looking at the moon then occassionally at the new femme.
"I like this place too... " She commented. Not giving her; her name. Since. Names were so formal.. something that she wasn't used to. Whatever someone would call her was what she'd answer to. She whipped her tail to the side, making a cracking sound; like a twirled towel would. "Nice to have met you too..." Her voice went softer and more calm. Ah, the presence of this girl was just alluring. Her ears laid to the sides of her face. Sniffing the air of that sweet smell that had once disturbed her; not in a bad way though. More... sweeter way.

Silver turned her face towards the black numa at her side. "Oh? Is it really that dangerous? I thought it was only dangerous if you go towards the swamps? That's what I have heard anyways. The human who gave me some shelter tells me never to go there. She says her other numa has had some unfortunate occurances from her resignation to repeatedly visit that place. I'm not one to go looking for trouble."
Silver smiled inwardly. She was a good girl; so far her life in Candyland had always been pleasant. "Well, I am a daughter of the night. Just because someone loves the night doesn't mean they have to be dark or ebil. There are plenty of numas who love the night... because the sky with it's irredescent moon and the twinkling stars. Their beauty is unmatched. It would be a waste to be out all day and sleep away all the hours to see this. It's like looking at a dark blue blanket sprinkled with diamonds. I wouldn't miss seeing this for the world..."
Then, Silverglow covered her muzzle with her paw. She felt a bit bashful. It wasn't normally like her to just go on like this, especially in front of a stranger. Just her love for the evening made her feel so fervent. The mere topic made her feel so empassioned.

Before she thought on what the other said. Her description was just so beautiful and indulging that her cheeks became flushed. Yesh, a dark numa's cheeks were now a crimson red. Not knowing this though.
"Yea.. dark is always associated with evil.." She said this form first paw expirence. How many times was she miss understood for what others had to say. "Coffee swamps is it not the same? Coffee live in candy land too..." Her voice went down. Of course she would know. She has seen may of Chi's friends with coffees and she heard that chi wanted to befriend one too. She couldn't think of any real differences except for their smell.
Sayuri's pelt flew with the wind; her stars started brightening...across her night sky pelt. Her gray paws clapped together. "Daughter of the night?" She asked questionably... How wait. She was at it again.. maybe it was better when she didn't talk.. she wouldnt have to make others feel umcomfortable.. but she was living by a promise. A promise that would change her.. and it did. Now look at her. Talking a little more.. trying a smile once in a while. Blue streaks that were hideen in her fur; flew more openly...
She looked back at the numa. Her eyes glowing; but designed by a cat's eye. Her ears going up slightly to hear her.

Silverglow smiled softly at the fem at her side. "Well, you can be as dark as you want to be; and there could still be something good inside of you. And... even if most of hte night is dwelled with evil doers. Shouldn't there be a few who would be wake to keep watch? Those who are willing to take a watch while everyone else sleeps? I don't mind to do it. I think if anything lucky happens to me; it will always be at night. Too much daylight does hurt my eyes sometimes. It's the unfortunate downside to spending so much time in the dark."
Silver looked back at the girl with her. She could tell there was something to her. There was more to her than what someone heard or saw on the surface. Maybe a diamond in the rough.. the way stars in the sky were always there.. but twinkled from being shined on by the moon. Maybe this green eyed girl just needed someone to shine on her. Maybe her heart needed a warmth. Finding such things could be hard in numa numa land.
Silver found that many numas didn't always maintain their friendships from what she saw. They were always busy going to and fro and always interacting with so many others. Could that make a numa feel insignificant? could it make them hunger for just one numa who would always be there for them? She felt herself being intrigued by these questions. Maybe... she had been sent there... her and the other would help each other.

Sayuri's eyes searched the others once again. But then she looked away after a while. Others come and then leave... she was used to it as you could see. Sayuri's legs drew backwards; looking back at the moon.
This girl had some interesting things to say about the darkness... Its savior at night? How weird... but she never thouought of it like that. Being careful of who to trust was always Sayuri's problem... and being a slave to them. Even if she doesn't want to... but thankfully she met a numa who put her beliefs upside down. Creating courage from the bottom pit of her stomach. Now she was trying to make things better... her mind went loose. "Daytime isn't my element." She commented. Of course it wasn't. Her whole being was of only darkness... and nothing else. "Each star.. it shines so brilliantly..." Her eyes stared at the moon. The glow like the moon except green.
She leaned back against the tree. Gummies hung from the tree's branches... dangling with the wind. "You have a good head on your shoulders yea know... " Her hair swung up with the wind; then laid to rest in front of her left eye. Looking at her with the right. Hearing what else she would say next.. to amaze her. She never knew someone thought like that.. she didn't even think that... Her tail swung under her; patting from one side to the other slowly.

Silver sat against the tree herself, feeling keenly relaxed. She listened and observed this new person she had met. She smiled at her comment about the stars. "I love stars. They give me hope that some things are everlasting. That something that is beautiful and wonderful can in fact last. Even when everything seems to be dark in our lives, there can be something that shines in our darkness... guiding us to where we need to get to..." Her tail rolled around the grass around her. She was feeling increasingly cheerful as this was a pleasant meeting.

"Do you think that ...really. That stars give you hope.." Asking... so deeply wanting to believe the other.
"The darkest things... just seem so distant from light..." She was afraid of losing herself in hope. Hope only existed when others told her to do something.. and make them happy.. even if they didn't know it was her. Even if she had to hide in the shadows.. like stars have to when the sun comes out. Clearing all darkness and taking them out of their element.. No wonder they fled from the light. Being covered by clouds and light...
"guiding you...?" She then asked as well..? This female. What was up with her? She wasn't cold.. she wasn't involved in making others do her will.. Where did this numa come from? She kept asking herself as she examined the other; as the femme sat against the tree. She looked a lil away but then she went back to the other. "Made you hit your head a little too hard on your landing.. thoughs words sound impossiblly too well... for such dark things... like if they were out of place in candy land and not welcomed in to the swamps. There was good in darkness?
This numa seemed to think so... maybe Sayuri could possibly adopt that atke on darkness. Even if she thought darkness was all of her being... the night sky.. so elegant.. why did others accosiate darkness with evil!? were every night dweller- .... hopefully like this one. To convince her.
