Hi guys!

Ok, here's my problem: I've got a decent collection of games, most of which have been completed, or at least played till I like them no more. What I need is new ways to play these games so that I can get some extra life out of them.

Don't know what I mean? Look in the back of the manual for Super Smash Brothers Melee where it has 'alternative modes of play'. THAT's the sorta thing I'm talking about.

I'll contribute any ideas I have and any suggestions for SSBM, Resident Evil 4, Mario 64, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart Double Dash would be really appreciated!

Of course, any other suggestions are going to be useful for someone else so post them too!

Dammit.
From those games I only have Super Smash.

Well...
When I get bored I always pay it like this:
Select one of the characters you are bad at.
Select 3 npc's and set them on the highest level.
Select a stage that is easy for you to fight on.
Fight.

I always get a little better at the character I choosed when I do this.

I am not sure this si what you asked, though.

Nah that is definitely what I'm looking for. Another way of describing it would be things that you can do but the game won't reward you for.

I quite like that Smash Bros suggestion, especially since I'm only really any good with Mewtwo (because teleporting and throwing people are SO much fun!)

What I've been doing on Mario 64 recently (as an example of what I'm looking for) is playing around with the Magic Koopa Shell. To unlock it, you just have to beat Koopa the Quick on Bomb-Omb Battlefield and then in later missions you can steal the shell off him. Here are some of the things you can do:

-Try to collect as many coins without falling off
-Try to defeat as many enemies without falling off
- Try to get to the top of the mountain, then try to get down again (sticking to the path)

Or if you go to Lethal Lava Land:

- Complete the Red Coin Sliding puzzle
- Defeat the Big Bully
- Do circuits of the volcano

And here's a suggestion for the Desert Level:

- Try and travel along the metal walkway without being crushed by the rolling blocks!

Yay, I did something good.

I have a suggestion for a game.
it is for Mario Brothers on the Nintendo, though.
The first one.
That one who was paired with Duckhunt...

Well, if you don't want it, I will delete this post, But I will say it just to be sure.

Here it comes!:

Try to go as far as possible WITHOUT getting a SINGLE coin.

It is VERY hard.
I never got farther then 2-2

But maybe that is because I suck at Mario.

OOH now that is a challenge! I'm intrigued to try it out, but I don't have a copy of the game. When I get my Wii online, or next time I go to my mate's house who owns a copy, I'll try it out!

((Try to get Genis' "I Hate Gels" title on Mania mode with x1/2 exp.))

((For Mario 64, go to one of the Bowser stages (preferably the second one, because it rocks when he jumps back on it) and after you get to the Bowser fight, try to throw Bowser off the arena as many times as possible without getting hit once or having him hit one of the bombs. My record is 78. I accidentally threw him into the bomb going for 79. Yes, I literally threw him off the arena 78 times in one fight without getting hit once.))

((In Resident Evil, try to only use the basic gun (others if absolute necessary, like a boss that is immune to the basic one, or something like a bomb to clear a path (I don't know, because I've never played it before)). And time how long it takes, with how many times you die.))

((ANYONE GOT LEGEND OF ZELDA? LOL! Go through the entire game with only three heart containers. That's right, don't get any heart containers after bosses, and do your best to keep from getting heart pieces. I already did this on Ocarina of Time, and I'm doing it now on Twilight Princess. By the way, in OoT, if you don't get that Great Fairy thing that cuts damage in half, then you have to do your best to not get hit by Ganondorf/Ganon at all (or pack fairies).))

((Super Smash Bros: Melee! Oh man, I have so many ideas with that game, I always find ways to screw around. Pick a character you suck at and fight three lv 9 computers (yes, all three on the same team). Try it without any items what so ever. Also, try the 50th and 51st events with every single character, and try to beat them both with each of them. If you really want to, you can try to beat the other "choose your character" events with all the characters as well.))
