so, up until now, i had been having no problems with my roommate. well, no big problems really. but of course now that i can't swap rooms anymore, the problems come out. last night, i was woken up in the middle of the night by one of my roommates friends telling me that i had to listen to my roommates breathing and make sure she was alright. my roommate was trashed, wasted, pissed (the brittish definition), whatever you want to call it. she was drunk and at one point they said her pulse was 130 or something. they stayed with her for abotu half an hour, calming her down and making sure she wouldn't throw up and then left. I'M SORRY BUT I'M NOT HER BABYSITTER OR HER MOTHER! i didn't want anything bad to happen to her but IT'S NOT MY FREAKIN RESPONSIBLITY TO WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND MAKE SURE SHE DOESN'T BARF BECAUSE SHE DRANK TOO MUCH. so yeah, i really need to talk to my R.A. i'm not really sure if anything can be done (i.e. changing roommates) but i do need to talk to her. i'm sorry this post is long. just had to rant.

well i talked to my R.A. turns out my roomie had talked to her before i did. she said that she needs to talk to the R.D. and if something like this happens again, they'll do something for me. but yeah, turns out practically everyone in our hall went out and got drunk that night. my friend stayed the night in our other friend's suite because her roommate and a friend came home drunk. fun stuff, community living in college.
