The world in my novel is not known, I've not made a name for it or anything, it's too big and gets dangerous, but I do have a couple of countries set. The main one, Hurior, is where Mallisa's adventure takes place.
Here is a map of Hurior:
(woot turns out I had a map on photoshop, it needs editing though, and I just had major deja vu)

Hurior is big, green, and cold. Mainly habitat to humans, there are also some gremilns living there, and an extremely rare population, all hidden somewhere in the country, of trolls.

Relevant countries and bodies of water: (This map was mapped by Sanhian explorers. It's a small morcel of the world. Reason being only this area was mapped was because it's the only place from the world relating to the story. Much of the world has yet to be found anyways.)(Alphabetically)Bodies- B

Gypsy: yup I was coming up with that... I'm just gonna update on it a bit
The weather is extremely cold and the terrain is hills and mountains making hard opstacles to overcome. But cold is only one opstacle that Mallisa has to overcome, and it's no where near the worst. See the people of Hurior are already very used to cold.

Umm government in Hurior is quite simple, it's all about teamwork. They have one clan leader per collony and the leader helps around with the collony's needs and labour. He's also the one to discuss with the other collonies and send scouts all around. There are five collonies that each bring something different to the country. The only reason they are in seperate collonies is because of the land area and the former establishers.
I don't know about other countries, they might have hierarchy and what not.
There are some pretty primitive countries/races too like the people from Enfaiih and trolls.

what level of technology is your world at? (ie bronze, wood, iron, something else?)

They are in renaisence, but no royalty and fancy stuff, they're more like people in the new world
