he's from my country new zealand and and deserves mention for his contribution to eskrima
EDIT:i will let this rest because i didn't intend to create an arguement, and im in no arguing mood stare because alot of things that have happened in rl alright so that is all neutral

an ambassador for the sport of eskrima in NZ.he got a silver medal in the 8th world Eskrima Kali Arnis Championships. and he had it tough in his last years, fighting chemo. now thats a different type of battle sad that might not be much to some of you guys, but here, nz is a small place and not many of our martial artists[or other activities] make the international stage.. i only realised how well known he is/was in the martial arts community so he must have done something to be well known. apart from being a veteran of his art and getting 2nd place in his last competition.. and i was wondering if anyone here had heard of him. well maybe not then.

The only famious martial artists are those who've become actors and stunt-men; every individual style and school have thier own heroes.

Herr Grimm The only famious martial artists are those who've become actors and stunt-men; every individual style and school have thier own heroes. i never said he was "famous", i just wanted to know if he was recognised beyond our countries borders[obviously not]even though his contributions. but that is typical and stereotypical view of who is popular[well known] and who is recognised as important and respected... locally and globally
