Welcome everyone and all to the Fall festival! It will be a celebration of the comming of fall, and everything good with it. Held in and just outside of Yakio city, many people rejoice. Decorations are put up everywhere of fall leaves, the different elements, and anything else people can think of. There is almost constant music flowing through the air, whether loud or soft. There is also the delicous smells of food, and the clinking of coin, as vendor of food and items begin to sell their wares. As everyone around begins to prepare to celebrate over the next days the fall festival!

Altheia wandered into the fall festival, looking around her in obvious shock. The city had been nothing like this the last time she'd been there! What had gotten into the people of the city? Everyone was so happy and joyful. It was disgusting! Altheia nearly gagged. She hurried back the way she'd come, away from the merriment and laughter.

Kyna woke up slowly. She felt a lot better. Her winds swirled around her protectively and she smiled.
The healer came into the room to check on her. "Good, you're up. Now, I don't want you getting any of those nasty cuts wet for the next week or so. If you can keep them clean and covered," the healer said briskly. "Other than that, you're good to know. That leg might be a bit painful to walk on, but you're in no danger otherwise." She smiled. "Go enjoy the festival."
"Festival?" Kyna perked up visibly at the word. "I love festivals!" She jumped out of the bed, stumbled a bit on her wounded leg, and walked quickly out the door and into the streets. She laughed aloud at what she saw. The people looked so happy, and the buildings were all covered with pretty colors and banners. She grinned and went to explore.

Ivy and Hilt stared around them at the altered Yakoi in wonder. "It;s so pretty!" Ivy exclaimed. "And happy!"
Hilt's ears went back at the noise, but he was delighted nonetheless.
Ivy looked at Bob. "Where to?"

Ivy thought for a moment, tapping her cheek. "I don't know. Let's go see what there is to do!"

Bob began to walk. He could see people dancing, mostly gypsys. Vendors selling their wares, many very interesting things. And then he could see those ones selling food, and a wiff came by him. Bob's stomach growled.
"Hungry..." He muttered. The cold meat he had eatten at the castle forgoten. Using his power sometimes making him hungry.
"Go have fun you two..." He said looking at Ivy and Hilt. "And stay out of trouble this time." He added.
Bob then walked off looking at the different foods he could eat.

Ivy watched as Bob walked away, then shrugged. "Come on, Hilt, let's go."
The two set off to look for some entertainment. Soon, they saw a girl with long, plae hair and bandages. They went up to her. "Hi!" Ivy said. "What happened to you? Did someone here attack you or something?"
Kyna blinked, looking at the girl who had spoken to her. "Hm? Oh, no," she replied. "I was... well, I fell," she lied. "I'm very clumsy."
"Oh, you're clumsy, too?" Ivy said. "I am, too! Well, not so much clumsy as trouble likes me. A lot." She smiled. "I'm Ivy. What's your name?"
"I'm Kyna. Nice to meet you."
"You wanna go find something to do?"
"Sure, let's go," Kyna said. The two of them started walking down the street, staring at everything around them.

Bob soon could be found sitting on a bench with a slight mound of food around him.
"mmm.... sticky buns...." He muttered almost to himself, and started munching down on food.

Kyna smothered a giggle. "Look at that guy," she said, pointing. "He has so much food!"
Ivy looked where she was pointing. "Oh, that's Bob. He's my guardian," she told her new friend. "He likes to eat. A lot. Wanna meet him?" Before Kyna could reply or even do anything, Ivy had grabbed her hand and was dragging her towards Bob. "Bob, meet my friend Kyna. Kyna, Bob."
"Um, nice to meet you," Kyna said. Her wind swirled around her protectively, reacting to her nervousness.

Bob looked up from his food to see Ivy with some girl.
He made a gesture as almost like a bow if he was standing.
"Nice to meet you miss Kyna. I am Bob." He said kindly.
Wondering where Hilt was and why he wasn't with Ivy.
"The festival has some very interesting foods, perhaps you two would like to join me..." He suggested, offering a seat to them.

"Sure!" Ivy said, sitting down.
Hilt settled down on the ground near her, watching all the strange people walking by.
Kyna stood where she was. "Maybe I shouldn't test these bandages by bending them too much," she said. Smiling, she leaned against a wall next to the bench. "So, Bob, how did you and Ivy meet each other?"

Bob glanced over at the girl. "Hrm?" He sounded, looking at the girls bandages.
Bob soundlessly held a hand over the girls head, and as his eyes turned green her wounds were healed. His eyes then turned back to normal coloring.
"Ivy tells it best..." He said quietly.

"Oh! Thank you!" Kyna exclaimed. She flexed her leg slowly. No pain. Very nice, she thought. She turned to Ivy expectantly.
Ivy smiled happily, petting Hilt on the head. "Well, let's see. Where to start," she murmured. Raising her voice, she said, "First, you need to understand that my family... wasn't all I could wish to have. We have a problem, inhertied from mother to daughter. Their remedy was to stick me in a room for my entire life." She sighed. "They thought they were doing what was best for me. Either way, my mother eventually killed my father, then jumped off the roof and killed herself. No one knew I was still there, or really cared. The door was, obviously, locked, and I don't have te sort of strength to destory a door. We had a couple weeks' worth of food, but still no way to get out. A few days after we ran out of food, Bob came and got us." She shrugged. "And that's it. What about you? Why are you wandering around all alone?"
Kyna shrugged, too. "I didn't get along with my family. We have different views on... well, everything. The big difference is how we believe magic should be practiced and wielded. So I just up and left, one day. They don't miss me, I'm sure, and I don't miss them." A breeze swirled around her in agreement, and she smiled faintly.

Bob nodded. He remembers finding Ivy and Hilt that afternoon. They were much smaller then....
"Seems like not many people have family...." He said softly finishing of his last sugar bun.
