(( Carried on from main thread rp )) EchoLimaFoxtrot ((That would be awesome! I won't be on much this weekend too, which may be a problem... but if we can move the RP to a guild location.... yay!!!! <3333 )) Nagual giggled at the retort, "Well, actually... I am not from around here. I don't come here very often. I usually stick to the... less inhabited -I think is what I've heard it called- regions."
When the Kalona walked off, Nagual quickly ran to catch and trotted at the mare's side. Truly, this was a magnificent Soquili...still very unlike anything she had ever seen. "Of to where-ever then?" she piped from her shorter height.((I think that is all I can post *sniff* I have to leave in a couple minutes)) 'I don't even think I'm from around here. When I said I was unique, that meant that I was the only one. That can't be right really,' Izusa mused to herself as she led the filly from the Village and towards the river. She could hear the flowing water in the distance and headed for it, the air cooling as they drew nearer.

"Well..." Nagual mused, "you have to be from somewhere.... and I am sure there are more like you! You're too pretty to be the only one, you know... how can the stallions compete?" Okay, so she didn't exactly know the ways of the male-folk, but she knew some.
When they started to approach the river, Nagual could begin to hear the water. Her ears perked forward and she lifted her head higher, reveling in the cool air.

(( For Remove. <3
Note, Kasi is being RPed as a foal here. xD ))
Pallaton was slowly pacing around the clearing, eyes darting side to side while following his foal, and when she was out of sight, his ears took the job. She was so energetic when in the open.. Like him, but he wasen't energetic if he had to pay attention, at least he knew that.
Spring! Spriiiing! She could.. Jmp! And it didn't hurt if she fell! Maybe a bit but.. Wow! She could go hiiiiigh! And sense spring was almost arriving, there were birds, flying all over the place, making her oh so tempted to chase... It was a tad cold, but the grass was green, and the sun shined lazily down, peeking through a few, small clouds. Such a perfect day to play..

The grey foal trotted around, he wasn't in any hurry or anything really, he was just trotting happily around. He nickered quietly to himself as he reached the lake where he dipped his head down to drink the cool water. He didn't notice anyone else around but then he wasn't too bothered about seeing anyone else either. He was a happy young colt.

Couscous stood solemnly not so far away from his teepee, head hanging a little low beside the lake. At moments he lowered his head even further so that he was able to take a sip of water from the lake; otherwise he stood quite motionless and placidly. His shining silver figure was striking against the deep murky colors of the lake before him. He glanced over at his daughter, Maize, who was pacing back and forth somewhere closeby, a few times to make sure she was okay. He nickered quietly at her before starting his water-sipping routine again. Though he wished to remain alone most of the time, he was the sole caretaker of his two daughters, and worried about them more than necessary as he was a new father without the mother of his foals.
Maize nodded and smiled back to her father, ruffling her wings in mild agitation. Although she knew the troubles her father had gone through in the past involving her mother, she felt he was being a little too insecure now. Every day he wished to have her keep close to him, yet so far away... She shook her head and snorted, wandering further away from him so she could explore somewhere by herself - perhaps he wouldn't notice if she moved away a little at a time...

Ah, the little foal was full of such life and ambition. The sun gloriously shining down from above seemed to encourage and almost taunt poor little Dyre to come prance about the fields beside the lake. That high-pitched whinny was emitted as he pushed his hind hooves into the moistened grass, digging small semi-circles into the lush greenery - which would reveal the murky brown earth below. Illuminating rays of sunlight would beam downwards, mixing with the dust and the pollen from the surrounding plantlife, creating the most amusing elongated semi-invisible things for Dyre to toy around with. He swished his right front hoof through the air, attempting to catch a small piece of pollen that drifted along a small thermal patch. A frustrated huff was given as he missed, and he stomped his front hooves against the ground. The thumping against the earth was low and quick, but he soon realized that he was also easily amused by this sound. Dyre was rather slow at this moment to realize that he was nearing others, his ability to entertain himself was all that mattered for now.

Couscous noticed Maize getting further away from him as he kept watch on her and the lake at the same time. He lowered his eyes and slightly smiled, amuzed by how sneaky and clever Maize thought she was. He returned his attention to the lake, pretending to not notice Maize - he'd let her go now. Perhaps he was being too overprotective. He understood that Maize needed space, as well.
Maize looked back and realized she was out of sight of her father now - she could only see his dark silhouette by the lake. He'll do fine by himself, she remarked to herself. She paused for a moment, looking down at the long stretch of grass before her. She noticed an odd noise coming from somewhere near her - what was it? It felt like it was making the ground underneath her vibrate ever-so-slightly. She shifted her hooves anxiously before moving on to where she thought the source of these quick vibrations was coming from, intrigued by what she may find.

Darkened hooves came down quickly upon a lone patch of flowers, that dared to grow within Dyre's way! It was not his fault that they stood between himself and his connection with the earth. Moments later the off-white petals would be cast within the air, torn from their nourishment giving centers and stems. Fragments of leaves and tufts of yellow pollen would join the rest, floating among the breeze that was cooled so gently from the lake. Ripples seemed to form within the air, as it filled with the musky remnants of the flowers. Dyre's nostrils flared as he inaheld the sweet scent deeply, letting it swirl within his lungs - until he seemed to let a piece of petal move past his nose! He thrashed his head downwards, lifting a hoof to his maw as if to remove whatever was causing his breathing to slow. A few coughs and uncomfortable sounds were emitted as he struggled to breathe again. He staggered towards the watery edge of the lake, and he plunged his head quickly into the comforting and calm waters. His mouth opened against the liquid as he gulped it down quickly, letting air mix with the water - anything to get his lungs free to breathe again. Boy .. He sure hoped no one was watching.

Maize started to trot faster as she neared the source of all that ruckus that was being made. Her curiosity was so piqued - even if it were something dangerous, she just had to find out what was making the thumping sounds. It wasn't like anything that she had ever heard before. A noticeable trail of petals and ripped leaves started to form as she was on her way - ah, an obvious trail - that was good, for her hearing and vision weren't that keen. She soon arrived where the disturber of the ground was, and was surprised to find it moving about wildly near the lake. Intrigued, she galloped faster until she reached within full vision of the perpetrator, finding out that it was a young little colt dipping his head into the water below him. She couldn't help but grin at the sight - what a scene! Was the colt doing this for mere pleasure, or had something troubled him that forced him to dunk his head into the lake? She quietly nickered to him and moved closer, informing him of her presence. She tilted her head and cocked an eyebrow, hoping she'd find out what ailed this young foal. She kept her wings close and tightly wrapped along her sides as she approached, hoping he wouldn't find them too alarming - she didn't find too many soquili these days bearing them like her.

The stallion looks over to the other foal, snorting a bit before whinnying a greeting.
Kasi blinks, looking over before dashing behind her dad. She still fears a human will show up if there's another soquili, and she isn't half fond of the idea. Those things were scary!

((RP with Izusa... is everyone else in the one group then? *a little confused*))
Nagual delicately put a hoof in the river. For once she had balanced herself correctly and the water just flowed around her hoof instead of grabbing it and pulling her in.
Giggling at the sensation, the filly looked up at Izusa with a broad grin. "Where does anyone come from? Their parents, of course! Just because you don't know them doesn't mean they don't exist..."
A small fish zipped past her hoof, tickling the little bit of furred fetlock that was under water. With a squeal, Nagual jumped fromt he water and rolled on the ground laughing.

Bubbles gurgled and accumulated under his nose, growing large and blooping outwards only to travel in a zig-zagged manner to the surface. The disturbance in the surface of the water made his vision that more blurred, he shook his head from left to right, continuing to cough into the liquid. Finally, what was bothering him finally released itself from deep within his throat. It was an in-tact flower, petals and all. He pulled his soaking wet head upwards, gray hairs falling over his eyes as he tried to straighten himself out. Spinning around, he pressed his hooves harshly against the ground. More thuds were given as he moved his head up and down, trying to rid himself of the droplettes that condensed around the bottom of his maw. And there she was - Maize - a sight that he had never before seen. His gaze focused upon the objects that she attempted to make discreet - her wings. His brows raised, and his eyes widened further - he really hadn't been exposed to many of his kind, so the wings weren't too shocking. But they still caught his interest. An embarassed flushed feeling ran from his heart into his cheeks, and he desperately looked around on the ground. Laying there in the mud was the flower .. and he leaned downwards, snatching it quickly within his mouth. Being careful not to crush it, he trotted confidently over towards the female. He whinnied softly, bucking his head in a greeting, and he placed the flower on the ground before her. Aw.
