I have a question about something from one of the eps from the armada series. It is when they went to Canada's forest and Rad made a comment that had no logic behind it. It dealt with some of the trees been cut down. He stated that what happen to the trees was illegal and the people who did it did not care about the planet.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm up for taking care of the planet, but Rad madea statement base on that he assume what was done is wrong. I know enviromental biologly and we cover how some places would contract some companies to cut only certain areas to create new growth for both animals and plants.

Now I don't know what the original Japanese had written, but I felt like the english verson of that ep short change me. It felt like it went preachy on protecting the tress with out facts showing the whole story.

The part about them putting out the fire did not bother me becuase the facts where there.

Honestly, the entire series of Armada was askew. That was merely one of the points. But then, Armada was *gag* geared towards a much younger age group than (in my opinion) it should have been.

They tout the "Save the Trees!" line, which is ok in some situations, but in this case doesn't work, unless they had been warped into a no-cut zone.

Lord knows the logic behind this. Kid messages ruin Transformers. And those damn kids. Those kids ruined Armada. RUINED. lol

Death to Carlos! You blasted stereotypical mexican child!

*that was sarcasm, no offense was meant to actual mexicans... just people acting like them*

Yeah the US version left out alot of explanations. While the JP side story had a story line acceptable for adults too, the US side seemed to shorten the senarios so it was fit for far younger ages. Likewise for Energon too.

Yeah...there really wasn't much to the US version....best to just stick with Micron Legend and Superlink....

I did like the robot designs in Armada, tho I never understood why Carlos eyes were drawn that way. I did like Starscream, just which he didn''t die while fighting Unicron.

I bet if Starscream would have used his null cannons more often and pulled his act together the Decepticons would have gotten farther.

I have to agree the Armada series was a bit childish if i might say. The kids did ruin it but all in all it was ok. i agree with the tree topic and tell ya the truth i also believe they should have made the Autobots and Decepticons use better fighting skills then what they had them do. They weren't as powerful and they didn't show a lot of action. Not only that but i could see the lack of art in some episodes cause one minute it would be a reallly cool scene and then the next scene would look like they were high off of somthing ya know.

I have to admit, that whole episode was pretty weak (except Starscream getting Swindle x3 ). The "save the trees" aspect of it was an exceedingly weak attempt.
