I don't know how to keep you all hooked on this place. Those of you that post ever now and then, I greatly appreciate your effort. But I can't keep you interested in Dama or Gaia for that matter.
Poll guilds are really obsolete since they changed the gold granting system and you don't really get what we've come a custom to. You're Gaia wallet pretty much gets screwed and its not far.
Some people just out grow Gaia, rode the fad till it was out, or are just consumed by the outside world. Its sad that some of our best and most active members have unofficially quite but thats life. I myself are just as guilty as they are. I went on a month long vacation then moved I really haven't had time for Gaia with everything on my plate.
There really is nothing else I can do to try and keep people active. I've tried contests and gold give a ways but nothing works. Even inviting 50+ people a day didn't seem to work. Maybe its time to face the fact that Dama just isn't want it used to be.
THERE IS NO WAY THAT I WILL EVER CLOSE, SELL, OR DESTROY DAMADONIS IN ANYWAY!
Its just depression to see my home become a ghost town... Those of you that still check this place will find polls when I have the time or when other members get on.

I'm sorry. sad I can be totally unactive, and I really like it here. But sometimes it just seems futile, and I think about comitting gaian suicide. My interest in gaia fluctuates in and out from time to time, but I'm just not as passionately hooked to it as I used to be.

Its fine. No need to apologize. Gaia changed and that makes people walk away and so does life. ((^^)) Don't worry about it.

I don't post in Damadonis for the gold, I post because I like the people. You're all great and it's a lot of fun chatting.
In no way was I accusing anyone of anything - I'm hardly on anymore myself. I'm swamped at the moment with college and I can't really be bothered posting in the forums anymore. Kinda lost interest at the moment.
Anyway, I just think it's sad that we don't get to talk as much anymore. D: I'll definately continue posting.
Love you all. x

Well, I've been on Gaia since 2004 and it just happens - it's exciting and fun for a while, then you lose interest.
After a while it becomes fun again but there's really nothing you can do until then.
At the moment I've completely lost interest in Gaia, except for Damadonis. I make a point of coming on every day for five minutes to check my mail and see if anything new's been posted but it's hard when you're busy.

Yeah...I just kind of got bored of Gaia since they changed the gold granting system...As an item whore, it's really slow and grueling to get the items I want now, so I lost interest. Plus, Gaia kind of sold itself out and there are too many users...so I drifted away.
My visit right now probably won't last more than a week. I just wanted to check on the people and see what Gaia was like now since I haven't been on it in months and months.
