Well?

Would you rather play an MMORPG, with Gaia Towns graphics or Grid-based combat like FF Tatics?

MMORPG would give you a sense of depth and 3-D action, but may take a while to produce. Not to mention it could get crowed....

Grid based could be cool also, like you choose where you want to go and the entire battle field is a grid complete with obstacles (trees, water, etc.) and treasure chests (just attack to open......).

I was thinking more on the grid system. then there's a room where the gaians can create and join battles. they get to choose they're arena, how many players, then decide if its a team battle or a free for all. xd

this may be the best scenario i can think of for a site that's free. sweatdrop

I was thinking more on the grid system. then there's a room where the gaians can create and join battles. they get to choose they're arena, how many players, then decide if its a team battle or a free for all. xd

this may be the best scenario i can think of for a site that's free. sweatdrop
I hope you can venture into dungeons and fight monsters. It would suck if it was strictly PvP

if it's like tatics, then a dungeon could be like this:

-Pick your dungeon
-Each floor there is a fight you must win (party of monsters or something)
-Win the fight to advance a floor
-The final floor will have a boss (dungeons will have difficulty levels)
-Beat the boss and everyone gets treasure or someting.

maybe the treasure will be divided up like in FFCC, you'll get points for killing things and such, and the person with the most points gets first pick of the treasure. whee

Im hoping it will have more of a .hack//sign gamplay where you can have a party of friends to help but it has the battle system of diablo, not turn based at all

I'm guessing you'll have parties of course. It would be useless if it didn't. But I'm guessing 5 to a party?

Of course my friends are very helpfull and since its a party it would teach team work such as if an ally is out of potions you could heal them

I think a speed-based grid-battle system would be great, like Gladius, only you'd have to have low res graphics for those on dialup.
