Heather sighed and pinned her ears back. "So far we've been chased by seven different pokemon and haven't caught even one." She glanced over to very irrate Charmander and put her hands behind her head. "Shouldn't we be expanding the team a little? Winning some battles?"
"Mander. Char mander mander."
"Whatever you said, right back at you." She retorted pausing for a moment. "Maybe we should find a trainer? You know... take 'em by force! Fight to the death! Buy a rocket ship!"
The Pomeon at her side merely rose an eyebrow. While the outburst was weird it was completely normal. "Mander..." He sighed shaking his head until something caught his attention. A trainer perhaps? He began to make his way toward her, his trainer in tow.

A long drawn out yawn came from a branch that hung over the road as a young man lay in it with a hat tucked over his face as he rested there with a meowth curled up on his stomach purring.
"Ahh, it's been so long sense we've been out, eh Aeris?" He asked with a small smile and the meowth merely nuzzled its head against his chest. "We do need to be training though, everyone does. We've gotten rusty." He said with a small chuckle as his leg swung loosely off the edge of the branch.

Heather's attention and A.D.D. switched gears as she saw a leg hanging down from a tree. Curiousty was dangerous for a cat and even more so for a cat demon. She soundlessly jumped onto a branch near him, her ears coming up in interest. "Whatcha doin up in a tree?" She asked tilting her head to the side, violet eyes blinking.
The charmander turned around and twitched. Damn it. Couldn't she hold her focus for ten seconds?! Vincent walked up to the tree and crossed his arms, tapping his foot.

He yawned once more as he took off his hat and ran a hand through his hair as his wolf like ears twitched. "Resting before we get to training." He said with as slight grin as his tail twitched slightly. "A neko I take it?" He asked straight forewardly. "Don't get the wrong idea being that I'm a Lycan or anything." He said as he gently stroked his meowth as it purred.

Now she was really interested. The girl looked at the meowth and how comfortable it was and furrowed her eyebrows. That wasn't fair... She smiled at him when he spoke and nodded. "Yep! I'm a cat demon! You're a real Lycan? That's so cool! I've heard stories 'bout you guys! You're a trainer too?" She glanced down at her charmander and waved. "So am I! That's Vincent, he's mean as a snake and twice as venomous."
He snorted but held his head higher with pride. Of course he was just that good.
"I'm Heather by the way!"

He chuckled glancing down at the Charmander. "I'm sure his attitude will change. But my name is Lukan, nice to meet you." He said sitting up and extending his hand out to her. "I suppose I should introduce you to my pokemon as well." He said as his meowth got onto its haunches and yawned.
"This is Aeris, he's still kinda new to my team, and still practically a kitten as well." Lukan said gently scratching the meowth's head. Lukan leaned up a little and took out three pokeballs in between three fingers. He tossed them to the ground and they all sprang open. The first that appeared was a strange looking pikachu. It's fur was a green and it's eyes were a bright red. "This is Aquarius the grunnychu." He said with a slight smile. "He tends to get in trouble a lot because he loves to mess around with all things electronic."
The next that appeared was a marill that squeaked as it appeared. "This is Squeeky. She's the one I normally snuggle up to if it's a cold night besides Aeris of course. She tends to squeak a lot if you couldn't tell."
And lastly to appear out of it's pokeball was a calm and strong looking Marshtomp. "And this here is Blue, my starter pokemon. He of course is my strongest and the one I feel that I'm closest to. But I love all my pokemon." He said with a smile as he looked back to Heather.

Heather's amazement only grew worse as she watched his Pokemon appear. He had so many... well only four but it was well more then she had. "Uh well.. Vincent there is my only Pokemon... I haven't had much luck." She admitted her ears going down.
The charmander was ready. He glared at all three of them, raising his claws. "Hn, a pathetic lot! I could take all of you with my hands and tail tied." Yah... sure he could.

He chuckled and playfully scratched Heather's head as he glanced down at her charmander. "He's very rambunctious isn't he?" He said as he saw the charmander taunting his own pokemon. "He's lucky my pokemon don't battle unless they're told to, well besides Aquarius that is..." He said with another chuckle as his gunnychu sent a spark at his trainer and Lukan merely stuck his tongue out at him.

The girl purred and moved to his branch, her tail flickering back and forth in delight. "Mmm... he's something alright... most days I'm nursing a burn on my tail or a bite." She muttered turning into melted butter in his hands.
Vincent blinked then glared considerably. "Hey! Paws off my trainer, dog breath!" He shouted despite his inability to be heard by the man. "Scratch your own cat!"

Aquarius sent a small spark at Vincent's foot with a small growl like noice. "I'm the only one allowed to insult him!"
Lukan just sighed shaking his head with one hand over his face. "What it day it's already been. Even though your pokemon might do things to you, he cares about you. Which is always a good thing. That's a way someone gets stronger."

"Are you challenging me, rat boy?" The Charmander released a small flame and brightened his tail.
"Vinny!" Heather snapped. "Don't battle with that ... whatever he called it! If you two want to duke it out, we have to do it properly."
The fire pokemon just snorted and crossed his arms. "Whatever."

"Well..." Lukan began as his grunnychu jumped up the tree and sat down beside his trainer and he gave his pokemon a roughel of fur. "If you want we could battle. Though I must tell you I'm pretty good." He said with a grin.

The cat demon jumped off the branch and landed by Vincent. "If that's the case, let's see it." She winked at the Charmander who smirked and nodded, blowing out a flame.
"Come on you green creature! I'll take you on!" He grinned evily and thrashed his tail.

"You know to keep you cool, right Aquarius?" He whispered to the grunnychu and he merely sighed. "Yeah yeah, I know."
Aquarius jumped onto Lukan's head as he jumped down to the ground as his other pokemon sat by the tree and watched patiently. Aquarius jumped down from his head perch and stood on his hind legs as sparks flashed out of his cheeks. "Alright, the rules are simple, it's going to be a one on one battle, the battle ends when one trainer throws in the towel or one of the pokemon can no longer fight. Got it?" He asked with a smile.

"Sounds good to me!" She called back, putting her hands on her hips. "Ready Vinny?"
"Oh I'm ready! I'll kick that little--" And there were many insults that followed.
Heather sweatdropped as her Charmander appeared to go on a tangent and shook her head. "Duface. Alright Vincent! Use smokescreen!"
The charmander inhaled and let out a black fog that covered the area. The trainer coughed and waved her hand in front of her face and glared into the smoke. "Preferably when NOT next to me next time?"
"Char?"
