Location: City Ruins
Private RP Between Astro and Djnn...
Merci was sitting in the middle of the destroyed city she had once called home. Sure she was never there, but she did live there as a child. She grew up wandering the alley ways, and talking to all the market vendors. It was her home, but now, it was destroyed. She knew who had done it, and it pained her even more. She was furious, but devastated to do anything about it.
She sat on her knees, her wings drooping around her, as tears streamed out from under her helmet, as she snug to piece of the ruble. A soft wind carried the smell of the bleakness the city had now become. The once bright and beautiful location, now a large heap of ruble.

Kite sighed, brushing the dust that had already settled into his feathers. It saddened him to witness ruins. To be able to try and picture something complete, only to open your eyes and witness a broken fragment of it would indeed sadden anyone with a heart. As the wind blowed, even more dust blew in. Slowly.. it would consume all that lay left.
As his pathetic sigh echoed in both his armor and the barren land, he began pacing further on into the city. He was here... for personal reasons. Perhaps it had nothing to do with the city. Perhaps it was an excuse to be alone. Pausing, he stared at the scene that was taking place further up the path. It was a familiar face at least. A pretty face indeed. Would he go to that face ... ?
That's perhaps a dumb question.

Merci's wings began to stiffen and straighten as the perked up. The started to slowly move in a flying motion, picking the female angel off the ground. In no time at all she was in a standing position in the air, a very slouched and sadden body position.
She was clutching her heart and sobbing. Her boots glistening against the light cascading from the sky. It was neither the sun nor the stars. It was more of a twilight, a very sad twilight indeed. She started to turn around and fly away, but she saw the other that had happened upon the area.
He was a most familiar face. He was one she had confided in before, before she was called off for private duties. She faked a smile, that seemed to stretched her tear covered face. "Well, your not one I expected to see..." She chocked out, carrying a fake visage that everything was alright.

The angel let his jaw slowly drop. He knew she was hurt, that faked smile was something he knew by heart. Still.. even when crying.. she looked even more like a precious being while she hovered in that twilight sky. Even so, he felt guilty for watching her break like that.
"An angel.. crying is perhaps a bad omen, dear. Will you come down.. or will I have to chase you up there?" He stated, somewhat smiling himself.
He was indeed prepared to chase her. For some reason, he wanted to see her again. Even if it was in this sad place ...

Merci slowly floated down next to the male. She felt she could confide in him once more. She landed right in front of him, and she leaned against him, burrowing her face into his shoulder. She just cried for several moments before speaking up. "Im sorry... Its just... Im glad your here."

He stuttered. It was something he never allowed himself to do. He was taken aback by her sudden response. Her sudden touch both confused him and scared him in the end. Long before he even considered replying back to her, he lifted up his cold arms and grasped against her tightly. It was cold.. perhaps that needed to be changed. For now, all the poor male had was a rather odd complication.
"Glad ... th .. that I'm here? Heh, not many people are ever glad to see me. I'm sure that even I can be a shoulder to lean on though ..."
It took a while before he got the courage to actually look at dawn to her. Look at the hair that seemed to sparkle in the moonlight. Sighing lightly, he decided that perhaps this would indeed be a rather odd night.

“Screw the others. Your one of the kindest I have ever met.” She burried her head back into his shoulder. Not crying now, but just for comfort, listening to the sound of his heart beat. The constant erythematic sound was comforting, it was calming. Always the same, never changing.
“Lets… get out of here.” She finally said pulling away from him, feeling slightly ashamed she just leaning on someone she had barely known, someone she had only seen once before, but yet he was calming to her.
