Tetsu was in the main room with his bass guitar, strumming away 'Link'. Hoping someone would hear him and if someone did it would be one of his fans. As he strummed he also sang his part as a warm up.

Lifting her head from the book she was reading several rooms away, Hiyashita's ears twitched at the sound of the music. Putting her book aside, she got up and went to investigate, and maybe sit and listen to the music for a little while.
She slunk down the hallway until she reached the entrance to the main room, where the music was floating out from, and peered around the corner cautiously.

He kept on practicing as he sang a tad bit louder, getting more into the music every second. With a satisfyed smile he set down his bass guitar and flopped down on a near by chair. "I wonder where everyone else is, it's strangly quiet.." He mummbled.

Standing in the doorway the entire time the other feline sang and played his music, she watched the other cat with curiosity. Despite having seen music performances on TV, and read about them in books, she still found herself strangely moved by the music that he played.
Disappointed when he set the guitar aside, she considered his rhetorical question for a moment before stepping into the room while stating, "Did you forget that most of the other's are gone to the adoption days event at the local mall? Only the ones already adopted are still in the house."
((And I just pulled that totally out of no-where >_>;; ))

"Usually I'm surrounded by the waywards I live with, or someone but I guess they are all busy." He replyed as she eyed the cat, smiling sheepishly at her. "I'm Tetsu, and who might you be?" Tetsu asked cureously flicking his tail happily.

Tilting her head to the side during the other cat's explanation, she found it acceptable - especially given that her guardian had quite a number of Waywards that always seemed to be underfoot. "My name is Hiyashita. Hiya for short. Nice to meet you," She replied, watching his tail flick back and forth curiously.
Not having much else to say, she wandered over to a pile of books sitting on a table in the corner to see if there was anything worth grabbing for reading later.

"Would you like me to play some music while you read? Give you something to listen and give me something to do.." He enquired with a smile as he eyed the feline again. "Hiyashita is a very pretty name, if I might add."

Setting down the book she was holding in her paws, she turned her head to look over her shoulder at Tetsu while she considered his offer. "...The music is... Would be very nice," She agreed hesitantly, happy that she'd get a chance to hear more of the music while she feigned reading the book in her paws,a book she'd already all but memorized.
"My name... It means icy, or snowy. Cold." She murmured as she settled down in a chair near the other feline, but not too close.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know...well it's still a very pretty name." He said as he picked up his bass guitar and slinged it around his shoulders, beginning to strum a few cords. "Hope you don't mind the bass, it's the instriment I'm most used to.."

"It's just a name. Probably based on my coloring..." She mused, as he got ready to play, purring faintly at the first chords.
"The bass is nice... It's soothing. Lower then I'm used to hearing." She rambled for a second, shutting up just as quickly as she opened the book and pretended to start reading.

He turned on his amp and started to play, happy that he got to play for someone besides everyone he lives with who know all his songs. "What do you like to read?" He asked looking up, just noticing that she began to read. Feeling bad for possibly interupting her.

She began purring louder as he started actually playing, finding she liked live music better then the normal stuff on the radio. She relaxed back into the seat, pleased that the music drowned out the sound so she wouldn't have to try to explain.
Looking up from her pretend reading when addressed, she hesitated before answering, "Oh, I... Like almost anything. Classics are always good... Some of the recent mysteries have been good too... Most things have a redeeming feature or two..." After a brief internal debate, not certain about distracting Tetsu from making such pretty music, she finally relented to her curiosity and asked, "Do you read much?"

"When I can, but I'm usually busy practicing or trying to keep everything peaceful.." Tetsu shrugged and continued to play.

Ignoring the book in her paws for a moment, she watched Tetsu, studying him as he played. "You make it seem that chaos is more the norm then peace," She mused aloud, without really meaning to.

"In the section I live in, peace is a very rare thing you see once every three-thousand years or so.." Tetsu replyed with a small laugh as he began to play 'Lost Heaven'.
