age: around 15 hair: long, dark, kind of frizzy and wild clothes choice: "eccentric" aka stark raving mad. She likes dresses, a lot of jewelry and scarves, that kind of thing. She has an odd obsession with circles. She always wears pink galoshes with yellow polka dots. personality: I'm not quite sure yet....
She's been homeschooled for years and now she's going to high school for the first time, and she totally doesn't fit in. She's part of this huge, quirky family that talks to spirits and things. (yeah, it's a modern fantasy.) But I'm trying to figure out the whole magic thing... I know it's not like Harry Potter, where everything's all organized into spells and things. It's more random and crazy. I think Hazel will be good with a crystal ball.
Her Family: (because they're very very important) Ives. Age 16. He is haunted by the spirit of an old soldier and he claims that he receives power and advice from him. Ian. Age 16-- twin of Ives. Not quite sure about him yet, although he wears a long black cape at all times. Garnette. Age 17-- adopted. She believes in symbols of power, and because she's not allowed to get a tatoo, she draws them all over her arms with sharpie. Trevor. Age 18. He's looking for the meaning of the world. He's also looking for a college to go to next year. Milo. Age 21. He has recently moved back home and his family worries about him because he's constantly summoning demons. & parents and grandparents, more on them later.
help, anyone? I'm wondering if it's odd their ages are so close together... I mean, I know it's physically possible, but is it strange? Also, Garnette was adopted at age 8 and the grandparents were there to help raise the kids.... but still, would people wonder at their ages?
so yeah def. more later.

interesting. I'll look at some more sites and stuff... I think I'll try for a mix of mysterious "Wiccan" magic and some silly, random magic too. maybe I'll have some mythology bits too.

i think siblings that are close in age are practical, not odd. are the kids all going to the public hs? how will they react if they are/aren't going?
