Life at the beach isn't always so simple. There are crabs, and over doses of sunscreen. then theres that awful smell of grease coming from the chip wagon at the foot of the sand hill, that leads up to the water.
This year, some teens are sent here to get away from the husle and bustle of city life. Whether it's swimming, tanning or maybe just flirting, this beach is your new home for the summer.
Meet new friends, read and eat, maybe even check out soem of the local sports you can play over at the community center. Maybe you might meet a hottie while doing it.
Anything can happen when your a teenager living in a posh hotel, everything paid for that is within a block radias. This program was chosen by your parents, to get you to see the real outdoors life of California.

Well, she'd be the freak dancing down the city street singing at the top of her lungs to her iPod. Star doesn't care what people think, and loves recieving stares from people who watch her antics. Star is a prankster as well, but not too many jokes are played.
Star was forced to come here on this plan because her parents want her to start acting more like her age than like Fergie in one of her music videos. So, they sent her here.

Bio - Kiyoko has been doing very well in school, but her parents were worried due to the fact that their daughter didn‘t talk to many people. She has one best friend, whom she can trust completely, but other than that she is usually very silent. Her parents suggested the beach trip to open her up, and although she‘s not good with beach stuff (for she burns easily), she agreed to go after awhile of thought. She decided to look on the bright side, and think of it as an adventure.
Personality - Usually very quiet and keeps to herself, although once you break past the shell, she is quite talkative and caring.

Star stepped out of the hotel. Damn repairman! Couldn't he fix the elevator faster? I had to walk up to room 73! Star thought to herself. She shrugged and headed out for the beach. Star noticed only one lone boy there, since it was pretty early in the morning. Star ignored him and walked into the water and started to swim.

Kiyoko walked on the sidewalk leading towards the dorms. The wind blew back her long brown hair while she was carrying two suitcases and her purse, while holding Fluffy in her arms. She pushed up her glasses and stared at the water, stopping her walking as she did so. It was a beautiful morning, and the sun shone brightly on the beach below. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” she asked her cat, who meowed in response. Smiling, she made her way to the main building and to the front desk. “Good morning? Name please.” said the lady at the front desk. “Kiyoko Sakura.” she answered, and not a word of babbling followed it. “Ok…you have dorm 37.” “Thank you kindly.” she responded, and made her way to the hotel.
After unpacking her stuff in the nice-sized room, she changed into her bathing suit and headed out towards the beach. She would have taken Fluffy with her, but the cat “told" her she wanted to stay in the cool hotel room and take a nap, so Kiyoko left out everything her pet needed before heading out. I should call Melissa tonight and tell her I got here, she thought while heading out hte door earlier. She noticed one person sitting on the sand and another in the water, so she sat down and put on some sunscreen, then took out a book and began to read it. She wasn't the most social person, but she loved to read.
